@tams_89 Thank you. It’s been a rough week.

The good news is that the combo of 30DS and basic grief has helped. I’m down 6.4 lbs to 178.6 as of today, and have lost 2” off of my bust and hips, as well as 1.5” from my waist. I don’t want to stop now.

Hey everyone, Sorry I just disappeared. It turned out that my dog had very aggressive cancer and I had to make the awful decision to put her down early last Friday. I’ve been a mess since then but want to get back on the wagon again! What’s the plan for July and when do we start?

I see a lot of people go all the way down to 1200, but I don't feel like that's setting me up for long term success (note: this is just me and my opinion). I'm keeping myself under 1600, but the weight loss is a lot slower that way. Still, my fitbit says I'm burning around 2600 calories a day, so that's a 1000 cal deficit…

@Slivnfree1982 @kakemery Way to go, both of you! Finished the last day of level 2 this AM, headed for level 3 tomorrow. Def down for Ripped in 30 in July. I'm feeling really good and def know that I'm making progress. Thanks, y'all.

Level 2, day 8 DOWN. Woo! I didn't want to do it this morning, but I pushed through. @Slivnfree1982 I'm definitely noticing definition in my arms that wasn't there before, which is awesome. My lower body and tummy have a bit more of a way to go, but I've lost 1.5 inches on my hips (46" to 44.5") and almost a full inch on…

Level 2, Day 6 DONE

Level 2, Day 5 DOWN!

@mummiecakes It's a well-known secret that IUDs can contribute to weight gain. I had the copper IUD for 8 years, and during that time I went from 165 (my best shape of all time, super muscle-y, wedding weight) to almost 200. Once I had it taken out, I was certainly paying attention to what I ate (and being depressed about…

Day 4, level 2 DOWN! I roped my bestie into doing it with me in the mornings and it’s great for accountability. We’re working over zoom—surprisingly not terrible.

It was easier for me today too. And I’m making my peace with being okay with some of the mods. I’m doing mountain climbers for squat thrusts and don’t know if I’ll ever be able to do the plank-jacks. Still feeling it, though!

Seconded that level 2 is HARD! I have arthritis in my hip joints and have to be careful about high impact and DANG there’s a lot of jumping in this one. Made it thru tho! 👏🏋🏻♀️🥈

@Slivnfree1982 and @tams_89 I’ll be starting level 2 with y’all too. We got this!
-
Look at you! Congrats!! I'll be done on Friday, then onto Level 2 Saturday.
-
That's awesome! I definitely feel a lot different and am noticing the changes in my endurance levels. Everybody's doing great!
-
@Slivnfree1982 Get it, girl! Nice work! Just finished up day 6 after a nice little rest on the weekend. Felt so good - I can really feel myself getting stronger!
-
Awww thanks for the encouragement! I worked out as soon as I woke up today and felt SO MUCH BETTER. It's still hard, but I can tell that my endurance is improving. Still at level 1 for now.

Today was the hardest, but I did it! Gonna get back to doing it first thing in the morning tomorrow—I’m discovering that works best for me. Also did my measurements and am bummed that I’m back up where I was six years ago. Not gonna let that get me down right now.

Hi all! Back on MFP after dawdling for a couple of years. I'm 5'8" and got up to 195 at my heaviest, right before my divorce at 36. Back then, I just walked a lot, paid attention to my calories, and had my IUD taken out...30 lbs gone in 6 months. I was able to stay around 165 for 4 years. Since 2018, I've gotten into…

Day 3 down! I did *NOT* want to get up and do it this morning but pushed through. I did one of Ryan Heffington's dance classes last night, and realized its maybe not the best combo as it stretches and works out a lot of the same muscles. I'll likely go back to walking today. Not sure if I'm modifying or if the lunges are…

I'm in! Day 2 down. I'll update my measurements as soon as I have access to a measuring tape. Not weighing myself right now, just going on feel.
