Newbie here: I've been working out with Leslie Sansone's videos for 5-6 weeks. I found new thigh muscle this morning and got up ogff the floor without huffing and grunting today! I'm psyched to keep going!

It's been interesting making sure I eat enough calories in a day; without this app, I never would have realized that my body was in starvation mode. But now I'm planning well-balanced meals in the app in advance, and my metabolism is speeding up. Down a pound since starting!

That was the hardest part of trying to quit: my apartment complex is fully non-smoking so everyone congregates on the street and it becomes a social hour kind of thing. Thankfully I've had new friends from church and MFP to socialize with and distract me through the rough patches.

I'll be 40 in October and have recently committed to a life of fitness! I'm on day 4 of quitting smoking, do 1-2 miles of Leslie Sansone aerobics 5 days a week, and eat a clean pescatarian diet. I'm currently at 205 lbs at 5'7" and am slowing working my way down to my goal weight of 195. I refuse to turn 40 in horribleโฆ

Same thing happened to me as a kid. Then last year health issues forced me to go plant-based and I HAD to learn to cook veggies. So glad for it now, though!

My almost 2 year old loves carrots roasted with olive oil and garlic salt, maybe a little parm cheese at times, and she eats fried sweet potatoes like they're going out of style! Braising greens like kale takes the bitterness out of them, and roasted fresh green beans are very mild. Hope this helps!

I ate 1/2 cup of red onions sauteed in oil on a salad, and my arthritic knee swelled up almost immediately (it seems to act as an early warning sign). MFP didn't seem to like it either; maybe I set the carb macro counter too low at 5%. Most of my over-weight seems to be inflammation, and keto works for me to reduce that.โฆ

Hi! I'm so happy to see this thread! I've been doing her 1-mile videos for close to a month, and while I haven't noticed any weight loss from the exercise, it helps get my arthritic knee going in the morning and increased my endurance. I'm moving up to 2-miles starting Monday!
