MFP taught me portion control. I had no idea about the amount of calories I was actually consuming on a daily basis. It basically taught me that going back for seconds will cause you to exceed your daily calorie intake and cause you to gain weight. Now I rarely go back for seconds and weight everything I eat.

I wear my pants higher now otherwise my belt sits on my newly visible hip bones causing discomfort. As a result my inseam has increased by 2 inches.

Reporting back after a month and some change... The second 5 weeks the weight has come off much more logarithymically..only 3 additional pounds lost. How infrequently I poop. I used to have 2 or 3 bowel movements a day when I was gorging myself. Limiting to 1500 calories daily doesn't push the food through fast enough. Now I poop pretty much every 48 hours on the dot.

Thanks Durham! My goal is to get really cut and defined. I haven't seen my abs in a decade and now I can finally see a hint of them surfacing through the layer of subcutaneous torso fat! Going for the 6 pack!
