Thank you all for the feedback. Agree, I do plan to increase caloric intake a bit as I start adding exercise. Just didn't want to sabotage my loss plans. Trying to get down to 190-185 and maintain, gotta keep a lil chub 😄

Ali, I was as surprised as you and Slim. The muscle mass at both checking are using specialized equipment that is relatively accurate, but agree overall, that all figures are relative. Thank you for the input and I agree I gotta find a balance, its tough.

So..last night wasn't too bad, sun went down and temps dropped to 95. Put 40 minutes in, knocked soome good intervals and was able to do it again this morning around 0430. Didn't get eaten by Tiger in my dreams last night :smiley:

Last night was rough, I was eaten by a tiger...in a rather frightening dream :smile: . Then I spent the rest of the early morning hours worried I'd over sleep my alarm and miss my 0400 wake up call...WTH??? Well I did miss my run but not because I slept through my alarm. So now have to run this evening, its gonna be 108…

Stuffyknee make sure you eat... a lot if your weight training and boxing, fuel the body with good proteins and fats. Good luck enjoy the journey!!!

AliNouveau nothing wrong with challenging yourself and why would that result in a training injury? :smiley: plan it, do it, push it, just prepare to pull it back a little if you need to.

Just completed my first day of cardio walk-run intervals on my way to running-sprinting intervals. My goal is to be able to run at 4.5 and sprint at 6.0 for 30 seconds for 10 rounds before end of the month. 0430 came early, but temps in AZ were great, about 75 degrees.

Ate healthy today, nice 12oz piece of Atlantic salmon, smoked over cherry wood, cup of salad, even had enough left over for 2oz of fine Kentucky bourbon. Now its pool time. Happy 4th everyone!!!
