  • Trying to get to 245lbs (currently at 247.9 sooooo close)
  • I've been trying to lose at a pace of 8lbs per month, so around 2lbs per week. This last week I fluctuated a lot but ended on losing only .2lbs so that sucks. I likely won't reach 8lbs lost in the month of February. BUT! My NSV is that I didn't let it ruin my week and took it as win and encouragement to keep going. I've…
  • I did not feel like running last night, I had run Sun, Mon, Tues already and skipped Wednesday to recover. I asked my neighbor if she wanted to run with me last night for accountability. She said yes, we did 3 rounds of walk 3min/run 1-1.5min and walked the rest of the way. I was really not feeling it, and my running was…
  • I hit my goal of 8lbs lost in January, now I need another 8lbs in February to keep the pace I want for myself. But my mini goal is to lose 3lbs to get me under 250
  • I ran a 14 min 48 sec mile this last Sunday! That's beating my high school time of 15 min 03 secs! Now I need to top my next best mile time of 12 min 42 secs from 10 years ago. I can't remember my mile time from my peak of running, I want to say in was in the 10 min 30 sec range. Either way! I'm trying to shave 15 seconds…
  • To run for 2 minutes straight! I'm training for a 5k for this summer and right now can only run about a minute to a minute, 15 sec. Slowly building up to it with shorter walking breaks in between. Started with rotations of walk 5 min, run 1 min and now I'm doing walk 3 mins, run 1 minute!
  • I tend to deal with stress by stress eating. I'm working on it in counseling. BUT! Yesterday I was experiencing emotional distress and craved cake from my workplace cafe. Instead, I grabbed a container of red grapes and gouda cheese to satisfy the stress craving for sugar. No guilt over it, and I'm so proud of myself for…
  • I decided to finally cross a 5k off my list this year. I ran (okay, jogged) for the first time in years last night with a friend to start preparing. I did increments of 5 mins walk/1 min jog a total of 6 times without stopping! I felt great! I couldn't stop smiling! (Might have been the post run endorphin high, but I'll…
  • I've tracked my calories for 20 straight days and kept up my goal of weight lifting 3x a week M, W, F and walking 3x a week T, Th, Sat. Also kept up with my supplements and getting 10k steps a day at work! I plan to do some at-home walking work outs during the winter storm this week, but I haven't had this level of…
