CW 191.8 PW 192.0 Well, it's a squeak of green, but it's still green! I will keep up the good behaviours over the weekend and step up my water consumption for next week to keep this trend going. That new decade is within reach, I just know it!!

Hockey tonight was great, it was my 4th game in 7 days! The end of the winter season is near so we're making up for missed games due to snowstorms. It's making for some good energy burns! We laugh as much as we skate some games. 😁 I've been seeing good numbers on the scale this week, so I'm hopeful for tomorrow. Every…

@KellyBgetsfit I hear you on the mini losses! They eventually add up but can be so discouraging when you've put in all the effort. Keep it up and you will get there. That pilates booty workout sounds awesome!

Yay it works!!

I got a new phone so just out of curiosity I'm trying to upload a photo. I was never able to previously unless I used the mobile website (which was so tiny on my screen!) This is me doing a plank after my tabata class - in case it works!

Well said @LoraineGB!

It's a very snowy morning here. @jugar you must be ecstatic! Fluffy fluffy snow and mild temperatures allow for lots of outdoor time. I will be sure to start my fitness tracker once I'm outside shovelling. I use the GPS tracking option and I find it hilarious to look at all my squiggly lines wandering randomly around the…

Today is my hungry day.... Hungry hungry hippo! Luckily (I guess) I'm stuck in the car for most of the day so I won't be able to snack. Will just have to stay under control at the restaurant for dinner. So hungry..... Lol

CW 192.0 I happened to be reading this on an empty stomach as I prepared my first coffee of the day so I tried it and I had a little burp while I was drinking the water, and then not again so I'm going to try it again tomorrow to see if maybe I just don't know how to drink water.... Lol

Seriously amazing post-vacation turnaround Brad and Ashley!! Good job. I'm hoping for a small sliver of green myself. This morning the scale was friendly and I behaved reasonably well today so as long as I can steer clear of the snack cabinet or cheese drawer after hockey tonight I should be in good shape! My training…

@DD265 @ashleycarole86 I have challenged myself a few times and won by entering both a Costco and IKEA and actually coming back out with only the one item I went in for in less than 15 minutes. It's rare and definitely less fun. 😉 Hi team, I'm Courtney, 42 a government office worker in Canada. I've been losing and…

No re-register required! You're one of the team. Post away!!

CW 193.6 Slight rebound but there is also some food in transit that has decided to overstay its welcome. More fibre will be added to the diet this weekend to compensate. @ashleycarole86 I resent every moment of my job these days due to this commute. I have upgraded my app for the bus system as there are multiple routes to…

I've been a bit absent as work has consumed me the last 2 weeks. I had a notification of over 70 posts to read when I logged in last night. I'm avoiding the 'revenge bedtime procrastination' now that I know it's a 'thing' so I've decided to catch up while trapped on the bus into the office as a way of coping. Luckily I was…

CW 192.4 Salty food may sabotage this. We shall see!

I want to play pickleball! It looks so fun. Our municipality has a league and when I went to sign up for the beginner level, I found out that it had sold out the first hour of registration. My aunt and uncle love it so much they painted a pickleball court on their driveway. https://youtu.be/tYX5l6js01U

@conleywoods looking great! @Gidgitgoescrzy I hope you're feeling better and those headaches give you a break. @KellyBgetsfit way to refocus after all those birthdays. I did my plank challenge today and I adjusted the water in my hot tub so it's a no zero day for me! With my new training class I'm out of the house for all…

CW 193.2 No hockey this week, but I upped my weights for my tabata class so the nice muscle soreness has kicked in. It's a precipitation mess outside so I likely won't get much movement in so I'll have to work extra hard to stay out of the kitchen! Maybe some sewing projects or knitting can happen. I had planned on hitting…

I'm going with Thursday's weight: 193.8 lbs Slight gain but I figured that would happen. I'm going to keep up my good habits and work harder on my portion sizes.

Winnie for the win! @conleywoods so cute... I made a shelter in a large bin with 2" foam insulation and reflective heat blanket wrap which is filled with straw and lives under my outdoor dining set under a water and wind proof cover. I dragged kitty inside at 5am when it was - 24 without the wind and she wasn't cold to the…
-
That is so smart!! I would have never thought of a test run. I forgot to weigh in this morning because I was too focused on bringing our outdoor kitty inside and sedating her so she will more calmly accept being an indoor cat for the next two days until the deep freeze abates. - 41°C with the windchill is more than I'm…

We used to have Target but it was short lived and didn't survive (I think it was around 2013 it arrived then went bust within 2 years). It didn't have the same deals and products as the US stores so people didn't flock to it. It's a shame, because Target over the border is a worthwhile shopping trip.
-
THIS!!!! Wouldn't that be a dream?? I've had a crap day with work (mostly not focusing on the actual work or accomplishing ANYTHING) and it would be so wonderful for it all to melt away with the millions on a lotto win to focus on health, self-care, and (for me) rescuing cats. Ohh, and playing hockey. That's up there too.…

@Gidgitgoescrzy I'm the smaller size I hoped I'd be, but all the pants are too short! They will be ok for summer, but not for the rest of winter. If I wasn't so tall I could fake it and wear pretty shoes and no one would say anything, but they're at least an inch too short so I look like a kid who's grown out of their…

I like the 'no zero days' concept. My friends from hockey have started a plank challenge where we text each other and have to do a plank asap. It's definitely working for me. Every little effort will lead to improvement. I've moved up to 45 seconds and I'm going to keep increasing by 5 or 10 seconds each day as I can.…

I wanted to share my habit tracker calendar on my wall but the MFP mobile site won't let me login and I'm still unable to post photos from the app. Oh well. Suffice to say I got to colour in all 3 of my goals today. It's a good start

Hi team, I'm Courtney, 42, and I live in Val-des-Monts, Quebec Canada with my husband and our cats. We're big into DIY home renos, and lately my live has resolved around shovelling snow. Tis the season! I've been yo-yoing with my weight all my adult life and a year and a half ago I managed to get back to my lower set point…

CW 193.2 May have set myself up for a hard first week back on the regular team with that starting weight but I significantly increased my exercise this week and I have been making better food choices. It's just going to have to continue!! @IDebraK great introduction! Welcome to the team
-
@conleywoods I'm so glad to hear about your dad. What a relief. I'm sure the stress set point will finally be able to reset a bit. And Congrats on getting that test done with all those obstacles. One semester to go!!

@jugar I'll see your 10 inches and raise you two more! We ended up taking time off work to be able to clear all the snow before dark. I put in 3 hours of shovelling and hubby put in 5. Another 10cm is forecast for the weekend. So fun! I wish I got to stomp around in it instead of pushing it around into piles! Lol My tabata…
