Hello, ladies! I was involved in this group for a couple of months last year, and then fell off the face of MFP. Short version: unexpected life thing hit, and as per usual, I gave up on my self-care. Thanks to therapy and an awakening to the truth that life is always going to be like, "Surprise! Here's a hurdle you didn't…

It's Monday morning in Japan, which means weigh-in time for me. Age: 44 Height: 5'4 SW: 242.4 lbs (1/25/21) Month SW: 224 lbs (4/26/21) 5/3: 225.4 lbs 5/10: 5/17: 5/24: 5/31: A little bump up on the scale, but no big deal. I've noticed that seems to be my pattern: up a little a week or two than a drop the next couple of…

@ExerciseExtraFries Welcome! This is an amazingly supportive group. I love your username. 🤣

@jazzadesigns My second Moderna shot wiped me out for two days, too! I was in bed during most of that time, nursing soup and watching shows on my phone when I wasn't sleeping. I feel ya!

Final weigh-in for April! @uyister That's so awesome!! You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your progress. (And that's a super cute dress!)

This has totally been what I've been learning in my journey. So true!!

It's Monday weigh-in for me! Age: 44 Height: 5'4 SW: 242.4 (1/25/21) Month SW: 226.4 (3/29/21) 4/5: 229.2 4/12: 229.5 4/19: 226.3 4/26: April GW: 220 lbs I had another week off from exercise, but I did log meals for most of the week. I didn't expect to see much of a drop, if at all, so I was pretty surprised this morning.…

@uyister Stay safe!! I'm praying for you! @goal06082021 - I hear you! I started with what MFP recommended, and I was killing myself with workouts and eating 1600 calories, and I was d r a g g i n g. Exhausted, always achy, fog-brained. I thought, "There's no way I can live like this." Then I learned about TDEE and started…

@goal06082021 @kelMee2 Oh, wow! Reading your posts was so powerful. Thank you both so much for sharing! Even though I used to be "fit" before I had my youngest, I'm still working on becoming someone I've never been before. Like @kelMee2 I wasn't fat growing up, but I thought I was. Between growing up in the 80's and 90's…

@jbutle5 Oh, man! I feel you there. I'm so sorry about the rough day at work. :( Is there a certain plan you're following that requires meal prep? I've tried all sorts of plans over the last decade to lose the pregnancy weight from my youngest (gaining it all back and then some each time), and I've gone into this time with…

@jbutle5 Welcome! This is such a great group! Congratulations on the little one. ❤️ What has you feeling discouraged?

Age: 44 Height: 5'4 SW: 242.4 (1/25/21) Month SW: 226.4 (3/29/21) 4/5: 229.2 4/12: 229.5 4/19: 4/26: April GW: 220 lbs Not sure if I came down with a mild cold or had allergies, but I felt physically off enough that I didn't workout most of the week. I was also just mentally fatigued and didn't want to track. I'm actually…

@tiffdaski Maybe "circuit training"? That's what your workout sounds like?
-
@christymarten Welcome!! I started out at 242 myself, so I feel you! I'm currently at 229. You've got this!
-
@Arralethe That's awesome!! Way to go!!
-
@sarahelton87 Welcome! This group is so awesome for support and accountability! @Arralethe I've been considering doing something similar myself. With 100 lbs to lose, I'm in the same boat. While I generally don't have problems with cravings or bingeing if I'm keeping to my calorie and macro targets, I do get a bit tired…

It's Monday Weigh-in! Age: 44 Height: 5'4 SW: 242.4 (1/25/21) Month SW: 226.4 (3/29/21) 4/5: 229.2 4/12: 4/19: 4/26: April GW: 220 lbs The gain was no surprise. I hurt my back on Wednesday jumping on the trampoline with my youngest. My core is definitely not strong enough for that yet! It meant no more exercise for the…

@goal06082021 I hear you. Cross-stitch is a good one to work on here and there and generally doesn't require a lot of set-up and clean-up.

This has been the best accountability and support group! I'm so excited to continue this journey with everyone! Age: 44 Height: 5'4 SW: 242.4 (1/25/21) Month SW: 226.4 (3/29/21) 4/5: 4/12: 4/19: 4/26: April GW: 220 lbs Non-scale Goals for April: 🌸 Not letting disruptions to my routine paralyze me. That's awesome! And I love your glasses!!

@speyerj Oh, that's an awesome resource! Thank you!

@ladychr0nic I have a fitbit, and I do log my exercises in MFP - however, I don't trust the calorie burn that MFP says. (I log it because I like to have a record along with my food, lol. I might try not logging next week to see what my fitbit says I burn.) I actually determine my calories by TDEE minus a percentage for fat…

@ladychr0nic It's Jordan Syatt on YouTube. Fair warning, he does curse. Another favorite trainer (or is the title now "coach"?) is Andrea Allen (deliciouslyfitnhealthy on Instagram). I love listening to her podcasts on Spotify ("Make It Simple"). Basically, I like experts that encourage growth mindset and discovering…

I love this! A trainer I follow on YouTube says we would never slash the other three tires if we got a flat. We should never quit our health and fitness endeavors because of a "bad" day (or week or month), and that really resonates with me. There's always tomorrow!

It's Monday Weigh-in for me; the final one in March! That also means comparing my other measurements to my very beginning stats (as a motivator to keep going). Age: 44 Height: 5'4 SW: 242.4 (1/25/21) 3/1: 232.1 3/8: 231.8 3/15: 233 3/22: 233.1 3/29: 226.4 (!!! Weighed myself twice!) March GW: 228 lbs MEASUREMENTS: 1/25/21…

That's incredibly inspiring! Thank you so much for posting!

I'm curious, too. 1200 seems drastic, even for a sedentary lifestyle.
