The word schlong came to mind immediately. Not because it's my favorite but because it gives the impression of something I would never want to go near.

I agree with beauty of dreams. I have 2 pairs of Levi's and they are very comfortable in the waist and not baggy everywhere else. They have all kinds of fits. They have high waisted and curvy. They are comfortable and cute.

9/24: 153.8 10/3: 152.1 10/11: 150.1 10:18: 148.8 Today: 146.8 I've lost another 2 lbs this week! Still under eating a little bit. I haven't bought myself the new leggings yet. I think I'm going to buy a new bra instead. Exercising 30 minutes every day. One day a week it's just a walk, and the rest of the days it's a…

Sitting on my balcony drinking chamomile tea. PO'd at the library for charging me a late book fee, canceling all my holds and not allowing me to check out more books due to a glitch.now I have nothing to read. Contemplating taking a shower but it's late and I'm tired. Wondering what to eat to fill in the final 500 calories…

I don't drink much, and certainly not now that I'm on a calorie deficit. But I'll go to the bar to mingle. I'm amazing at self restraint. I've been living alone for almost a year. Not coming from living with any partner, just roommates. I've been single for... a while.

There are plenty of "standing abs" workouts on YouTube. I believe HASfit and Body Project have some good ones. Should you decide to transition to the floor MadFit has some good beginner abs routines. I would also try yoga as many postures are great for strengthening core as they require a lot of balance. Yoga with…

Phlegm Globule pus Basically anything to do with bodily fluids. Moist doesn't bother me at all though. I just think of cake! I also use the word moisturized a lot in writing when referring to skin so I'm immune to any negative connotations.

I'm more interested in your complaint than the soda debate. But then again, CICO is all I think about these days. That being said, Diet Dr. Pepper really does taste more like regular Dr. Pepper.

We can motivate each other. I have 15 lbs to lose. It's going well - I've lost 5 lbs since starting mfp 4 weeks ago. I'm set to lose.0.5 lbs a week. My strengths are : I'm really good at keeping within my 1700 calorie budget, I rarely eat sweets and dessert except as a treat. I've figured out a way to eat all the same…

I think the idea of not having forbidden foods is a good one. I reached a mini goal yesterday and let myself have some frozen yogurt that day because it had been 4 weeks since I'd had sweets. Although I admit, I ate a little more than what fit into my calorie budget! Because I hit that mini goal I'm going to buy myself…

https://youtu.be/Oa-xdUN3x08 I did this great beginner abs workout from MadFit. 15 minutes. It's great if your muscles are not that strong yet. A good primer.

9/24: 153.8 10/3: 152.1 10/11: 150.1 Today 10/18: 148.8 I've made it under my mini goal of 150 so now I get to buy myself new leggings! Been losing more than a pound a week even though mfp is set to 0.5 lbs. Heck, I might even let myself have some ice cream today!

Thanks for the motivational post! I think my legs are pretty fetch, and I have an uncanny ability to delay gratification, which is why my diet has been working out pretty well so far. I also do a lot of nice things for my friends, and donate to charity when I can.

@SuccessHere Congratulations on quitting! That's a monumental achievement. It's so cool to see all the money you've saved! I hope you do something great for yourself with all that cash.

https://youtu.be/CdMcT4l8WTw Thanks @Deedoyle9721 for recommending the senior step wo! I finally found the above wo from Fit Outside the box that is at a pace I can keep up with! It's the most "beginner" beginner step workout I've come across. Very fun moves and easy to follow.

You're probably paying through the nose for that jerky compared to if you bought the big bag and split it up into nice snack size portions. Jerky is a great snack, especially for a dieter. Thanks for backing me up on the water. Hope your coworker is not being an *kitten* tonight.

Doing nothing at work is sometimes better than doing something. Is there anything dietarily edible in that vending machine? I just assume that everyone here is on a diet, like me, so excuse me for that. Thinking about how I got so many disagrees on a post about water intake! I said that I don't count my 10 measuring cups…

Country Time Lemonade! My mom used to make that for us and I had no idea that it was a powder, it was so good. I used to drink that stuff by the gallonfull.

It's after 9. Thinking about the choices that dieting forces us to make, and how that can be torturous (and sometimes sad, demoralizing, debilitating). Yes, I know that I can fit any food into my calorie budget, but I didn't have much left over after dinner thanks to mom's delicious cookin'. Had to shoehorn in the calories…

Cheap Halloween candy. Dark chocolate (although I do miss good milk chocolate) Fruit juice (although I very much miss fresh squeezed orange juice) Alcohol (although I would indulge in one or two beers like once every six weeks if i could fit it into my calorie budget)

Congratulations on cutting the life-sucking cord! I'm really put off by all the political posts too. Most of these people on fb don't realize how meaningless and futile their rants are. Their angry little post making fun of this, that, or the other politician isn't changing any minds or swaying any votes. There is a lot of…

The days I plan on going hog wild are Thanksgiving and Christmas only. And by hog wild I mean eating what I want until I'm satisfied, not stuffing my face until I'm sick. I can have anything on the table, just a sensible portion. Halloween won't tempt me because I don't like cheap candy.

I'm a little bit shocked, and somewhat dismayed, at seeing that so many people shower daily or even 2-3 times daily. Maybe it's because in California we are bombarded with messages about water waste. I just can't help thinking, the water! The water! I don't leave the sink running when I'm brushing my teeth or washing my…

The thread has taken on a life of its own, with people posting in the morning. I'm on pacific time, however anyone on east coast or central (or anywhere else) is welcome to post after 9pm their time. People will probably post at all times of day. I just wanted there to be a specific spot for late night.

😂😂😂 I love this dialogue.

Sadly lunchmeat has been a staple food for most of my life. I've thought about getting off of it because "they" say it's bad for you because it's processed. I'll continue to depend on it until I lose these last 15 lbs. Incidentally, you remind me of the song Where Have All the Cowboys Gone by Paula Cole. Where is my…

9/24: 153.8 10/3: 152.1 Today 10/11: 150.1 I bought a scale! Weighing myself weekly. Waist measurement (at belly button): 32.5 in. Last time I checked it was 35 so making progress! Since I've already almost made it to October's goal weight of 150, I'm gonna move that to 149.5 for end of October. I haven't been eating all…

Thanks for asking! I don't cook much for myself. I like to cook and bake for others. Ive made chili from a recipe, artichokes, Brussel sprouts, roasted chicken, chicken soup. I've baked chocolate fudge cookies, lemon meringue pie, cherry pie. Tbh while on this diet I'm not cooking much at all. I've relegated myself to…

https://youtu.be/AoAm4om0wTs Lady Gaga Rain On Me Lyrics so stupid ("I'd rather be dry but at least I'm alive!") But I worship Gaga and everything she does is gold. Can't get these lyrics from repeating in my head so what do I do? Play the video while I'm making breakfast. That'll help, right?
