TY GGG. I have bought them online. I only shop online... for these types of small electronics, they don't carry many, if any, in stores, as most Americans are not espresso drinkers. But, I still have to venture out to return them at the UPS Store. Not a major inconvenience... still, it is... but I've been sans good…

Don't let a man pay for anything on a date. 30-yrs later... oh, < Insert huge eyeroll > F'n forget it... My mum is filled with nothing but horrid advice on every subject. Don't know how her 7 kids survived, but that sibling map looks like a bleedin' bloody battlefield.

Just an espresso maker. Mine broke 3-wks ago... still can't find a good or working one. Already returned 2 broken ones. I think I'm gonna have to buy a Starbucks franchise instead. I can't take one more day of improper caffeine consumption.

Listening to some murder doc that someone recommended, while working on my computer, while conditioning my hair, while exfoliating my head to toe epidermis, while trying to find an espresso maker that works... just returned 2 non-working $$$ beasts... what to buy next... (this might be a "what irks you today" post).

Nothing irks me today but me... I'll get over it.

I understand... I cannot explain this mistake, but I accidentally bought a giant box of Costco plastic utensils, thinking they were metal... the box was so heavy, how could they not be. I thought the $10 price tag just meant I was getting cheap silverware... which was fine with me, atm. Now I'm swimmin' in plastic…

Oh, boo... twisted anything s*cks. Feel much better!! Ice, rest, ale... yeah, that's the solution.

VT is beautiful, but too small town for me, Rennie. I spent many years in Boston, so I'm familiar... I need a bigger city, if not just for job opps. But, TY!

Cheapest Smartphone I can get. Currently, Android something or other for $60, which I think is too much, since the last was $29. I drop or step on them so often, to buy anything other than the cheapest is silly. Never had one last more than 1-1/2 to 2-yrs. This 6-mo model already has a cracked case, even though I purchases…

Ahaha. Story of my life.

They renamed it "The Ref" in the US. I watch it every Christmas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl7X1MfOe8o

I didn't p/u that you were making it about you. When someone in our life leaves & they made an impact, even if it were just the pleasant woman at the coffee shop we've exchanged hellos with, it leaves a vacancy & we notice. It's like if you've ever worked with someone you enjoyed because their energy brought such…

Same. Sorry, Mel. That's tough. :(

Char... Here's PA's State Board of Cosmo link for future reference. PA's a good state for a HD license, as it's reciprocal with many other states given the 1,250-hrs schooling, if your daughter ever wanted to work in another state.…

@RennieHJ Which city/state is that, Rennie?
-
Along with The Ref with Denis Leary. I know many don't like it, but I still laugh out loud when I see it.

Dr. Brian Weiss' books teach self-hypnosis & past life regression. I took a course long ago, but the book is as valuable, imho. Dr. Bruce Goldberg also has a lot of books & info on those 2, if you can get passed his grifting, aggressive & annoying personality. You can find YTube vids on both, to see if you'd be interested.…

In 1-day?? If so, I need recovery time from that statement.

Interesting take. I'm an extreme introvert... being around others just adds stress to my stress. I only do 1-on-1 well & even then, I still can't relinquish all my alone time.

These things work great, as well. Since they're self-stick (don't always) & can be purchased cheaply in a variety of thicknesses, they offer a bit more leverage... & are a bit less unsightly. I've used them on shower rods, too... in rentals where they kept falling off... I learned not to hang heavy, wet clothing to air…

I did the same, hair, skin & nails. Congrats to your daughter. I hope it's a good career for her & she enjoys it. I became a HD, basically, as a backup career... if I ever lost a job or needed something quick, I could work in a salon & for the most part, that's how I've worked in the industry... short jaunts. I've been…

A humorous thing on my mind... yesterday, I was miles from home doing errands & stopped at a supermarket I'd never been to before, because it was just too bleedin' hot to be out any longer. A strange ranger dame, who had to have been 79 if a day, rang up my order. I'm an easy smiler & fairly cheerful all around, so when…

This is a fungus colony (the red "sun") in a spoonful of soil. Reminds me of a painting on Japanese rice paper. I guess fungus & dirt are beautiful.

I wouldn't believe the validity of this pic, if I didn't find it had won an award in Nikon's Small World. It looks like a crayon drawing. It's a microscopic image of a sea cucumber & the "anchors", apparently, line the entire outside of these creatures. Amazingly fake looking, impressive nature.
