  • Hi! I am new to MyFitnessPal. I would like to lose a few pounds but more importantly I want to get more toned. This month, I want to walk 50,000 steps per week and improve my calorie intake to 1200-1300 calories per day. I also plan on adding dumbbell exercises to my workout regime to 3 times per week. Brenda
