I'd be the same if I ate my last meal that early. And fruit has never worked as a snack, its not filling for me at all. Eat tea later or move some cals round for a 9pm snack

Interesting....

if it was my first holiday in 18 months I would be eating all the food, drinking all the drinks and giving zero kittens. And then get back to the deficit the day I got home again

some people have to track every day to maintain their weight loss. maybe you're one of some people? would that be the end of the world if it enabled you to maintain successfully?
-
No, but I eat my evening meal between 6.30 and 7, and its my biggest meal of the day.

Google is your friend for some mindfulness stuff, or a bit of CBT for coping mechanisms during stressful times. Allowing yourself to eat at maintenance for a few days during your period might also help. are you depriving yourself of anything? as soon as you tell yourself you 'cant' have something, you'll likely crave it.…

you say you stay in a deficit, but then you don't. What's happening when you don't? is it due to time of the month? stress at work? because you've been eating 'super healthy' and then binge chocolate?

I don't think you can

get signed up for some virtual runs for motivation? I am doing miles for mind this month and I'm in for 125 miles, so I'm really hoping my COVID jab on Friday doesn't knock me out for Saturday's long run!
-
I have a pretty cast iron stomach, so I can generally run within an hour of eating. If I was doing up to about 4 miles I'd happily go out fasted.

MFP settings are fine to start off with. Your protein goal should be the minimum you aim for.

from the look of your pic, I would say you need to work on building your abs, I don't think the lack of abs is due to too much bodyfat. The undereating is concerning however. and you'll struggle to build any muscle on so few calories.

agreed!

Car crash TV at its finest! The awful Katie Hopkins also did it a few years ago to 'prove' that it was easy for fat people to lose weight, and anyone who didn't was just lazy/greedy.
-
try a physio, not a doctor?
-
I run after work, I haven't noticed a difference in steps as I don't do much on an evening anyway! Long run day i can easily do literally nothing for the rest of the day unless i make an effort to move!
-
they only show a small amount of their workouts on TV, I imagine a lot of it is low impact swimming/walking. plus, as others have said, people will do a lot when there's money involved!
-
I think someone's got a crush!

I do NOT like the term 'jogging' personally, I hate it... running is running! but you're right, if a person is happy using that term, then they can go for it, and I shouldn't be offended for other people! its something I'm working on!
-
I once read that 'jogging' was under slower than 10 minute miles... that made me get a bit stabby, i'll be honest! never heard of a 'jog trot' though.

I thought I found a dead body once... totally counts, right!?
-
Water weight as your body repairs the damage to your ribs.
-
I have no idea what you think the difference is between 'jogging' and 'light running' but running is running is running... it's a different gait to walking. jogging isn't really a thing. if you've got shin splints then you need to dial back the miles, so plenty of stretching and possibly look at your shoes.
-
starvation mode isn't really a thing. 1000 calories is definitely too few.
