Having a diet break might help?
-
I'm only around sporadically if i'm honest, but its nice to see you ☺
-
Oi oi! you're back!
-
this is what really upsets me about my Fenix... it says I'm top 5% but to improve further I should lose weight... at 5ft5 and 134lbs I really don't need to lose weight. stupid!
-
If you skip breakfast and have a light lunch, its no wonder you're starving by 4pm. Don't skip breakfast or don't have a light lunch.
-
this is excellent advice
-
is clean eating really a lifestyle choice you want to make? if it something you find difficult to do, then probably not?
-
what makes you think you have a slow metabolism?
-
Why would you not want to do regular exercise, regardless of the calorie burn, when it has so many health benefits?
-
If you want to lose weight, you need to eat in a calorie deficit, regardless of whether you lift weights or not.
-
what do you want advice about?
-
I honestly don't think servers in restaurants care... they serve and clear hundreds of plates every day. If it was a friend then there should be no awkwardness in saying 'I'll juts have a small portion', or 'no fries for me thanks'.

Garmin for sure, but I second the suggestion to check out DC Rainmaker. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/

calorie deficit. that's how everyone loses weight.
-
I'm doing it!
-
Not that there'd be anything wrong with it if you did.... I mean look at that sexy little beard...
-
how do you know that!?
-
lots of similar thoughts in this thread too https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10842560/is-my-heart-rate-normal/p1
-
Its more about what's normal for you... I've seen my HR as low as 42 during the day, but that's normal for me as I'm reasonably fit. Its worth a conversation with a doc if you have any other symptoms that are concerning you.
-
it'll be %, 30/30 for fat and protein and 40 for carbs. there's nothing magic about that breakdown though, you just need a calorie deficit to lose weight.
-
Calories. I keep an eye on macros though to ensure adequate protein and fat for satiety, and as a runner I watch my carbs for fuelling purposes.
-
You mention walking and running, but nothing else. I am not sure how those things can have affected your shoulders and back? do you do weight training with your PT?
-
maybe you need a goal? sign up to a race, so you have something to train for?
-
honestly, if you're not running because you're not enjoying it, then I wouldn't bother making myself run for the sake of it. do something you enjoy. I love running. sometimes I don't like the idea of it, so getting out of the house is difficult, but I always love it once I've taken those first few steps. There are a…

this. just ignore the scales over that time if it bothers you.
-
as the saying goes, if you find running hard, you need to run more! same goes for any exercise. if you're unfit, it'll seem like hard work until you gain some fitness.
-
if your calorie goal is 1858, then why are you only eating 1140? Eat more. losing 3-4 pounds a week is pretty fast for a prolonged period of time.
-
it's normal for me, I'm reasonably fit.
-
during the day, I don't wear my watch when I sleep
-
my heart rate is usually mid/high 40s (I'm a runner), it goes up to low/mid 50s for around a week during ovulation....
