  • Go get some Sudafed and ibuprofen combo from the Pharmacist. Not the crap they stock on the shelf but the stuff you have to show your ID for. That NyQuil at bedtime and lots of fluids. Oh Mucinex (generic is fine) if you have lots of phlegm and a cough.
  • I decided that I don't want to end up with diabetes and high cholesterol / heart problems r/t weight like so many of my loved ones.
  • Honestly I wouldn't worry about a few pounds showing up at some point in your menstrual cycle. I have observed that I 'gain' weight the week leading up to my period. This month the scale went up 4 pounds. A day or two after my cycle started that weight came right off.
  • It's crazy how everyone is different in regards to what makes them full. I can literally drink one of my shakes and feel full for 6-8 hours. If I'm extra active I will have one of those Muscle Milk Pro series that has 220 calories and 42 g of protein. But protein has always been the most satiating in my case
  • I have either a Muscle Milk or Premier Protein shake for at least breakfast or lunch daily. I will also have one if I am feeling hungry and don't want to turn to higher calorie or unhealthy options. They have 160 calories and between 25-26 grams of protein per shake.
