To me the classic sign of someone with a wisconsin accent is when they pronounce their short o’s in a flat way. Like ‘wisconsin’ sounds more like ‘wiscansin’ but its not that pronounced. Its more in the back of the throat kinda I have never thought you sound like you have an upper midwestern accent
