  • Thank you @Kenyaa3. This week was a tough one for me. It's that TOM 🙄. I still managed to hang in there and had no energy what so ever for 2 days. Still managed to do my workout videos, eat fairly ok, drank plenty of water, got some strength training done and did my steps. I'm beat!
  • Thanks @Calli1616
  • @Keepingtrack1234 thanks a lot

  • Checking in- Had a good week working out and doing my steps. My meals have also been good. I haven't had the urge to want any chips or icecream which is good progress. Having 2 kids and their snacks in here just gets so hard. I had to post notes for myself in my bedroom and in my kitchen to stay on point. Everytime I go in…
  • @erinnec1 and @carolhemma087 - Doing this alone sucks! But from what I've seen so far the MFP community is great. We can help each other. I have my days when I'm just fed up and want to quit. But then I realize why I started in the 1st place as well as the many times I've started over.
  • Great job team on our week 1 win ⭐
  • Checking in- Had a slow start to my day. I only got 3 hrs of sleep last night and up first thing at 7am with my boys to get ready for distant learning. I don't know what happens to me on Sundays. For some reason it's super hard to get back to normal once the weekend is over. Super tired and lazy but managed to sneak in a…
  • @RunsWithBees thanks for your tips
  • @frankwbrown and @Calli1616 I never heard of blue velvet cake either until I walked into my local soul food restaurant and there it was. It's really good but definitely not an everyday or every week thing. It's way too rich for that. There is actually a pink velvet and green velvet as well.
  • Late check in- I was able to stay below my calories today and still indulge in a piece of blue velvet cake and icecream. Breakfast was an apple, and lunch was a turkey sandwich which was boring lol. But I had a lovely dinner... baked chicken w/cabbage, collard greens, mac, and corn bread. I split everything to equal two…

  • Hi everyone, u all have nice strong legs. What's your secret? I'm trying to achieve strong toned legs and don't know where to start. I'm working out at home...any tips?
  • Good job @Kenyaa3
  • To stick it to all the haters that said u can't lose baby weight. Once you have kids it's over, your big so get use to it. I want to see jaws drop in shock and say suck it.
  • Today was a serious exercise burn. I killed it with 25,742 steps from walking and 3 workout videos. Drank 10 cups of water so far and all my meals were filling and delicious. Hopefully I can get through the rest of my day without looking at the goodies in the kitchen...lol. Tomorrow is my weigh in day. Crossing my fingers…
  • Hey everyone yesterday was a crazy day but I made sure I did everything I've challenged myself to do. I just got it done super early. 4/7- I did 3 walking videos and did 15,660 steps. I ate pretty good yesterday and managed to stay below my allotted calories. I was really beating myself up about eating 1/2 a tray of meaty…
  • Daily check in- Today I did 14,871 steps, 57 minutes of cardio and burned 583 calories.
  • @frankwbrown I was puzzled by that as well. Seems like an awful lot to lose in such a short period of time.
  • Daily check in- Since the 1st I've managed to keep up with eating healthy, achieving 12k+ steps and doing at least 2 to 3 videos since rededicating myself to this journey. But today for whatever reason I'm feeling lazy. Gotta keep pushin!
  • Hello @Keepingtrack1234...glad to be here. I would love a daily mini challenge check-in. You've been at this for 20 yrs...that's impressive and still going strong. BRAVO!
  • Hello hello @frankwbrown and @AB0215 I'm so excited to be doing this challenge with this group. Yes we can do it again. I'm all in to help us get to #1. Let's get it! Brief intro about me...I'm a mom of 2 boys, 7 and soon to be 10. I've been on a weight loss journey for quite some time now and can't seem to keep it off.…
  • I use to have the same problem drinking water. I added lemon to my water which actually was pretty good and made me wanna drink more of it. I even add cucumber sometimes. Those are the only things I add to my water. Seltzer water is amazing as an alternative. It's what I drink when I need my soda fix since I gave up…

  • Banana pudding from Magnolia's Bakery. It's so good and just the perfect amt of nice and fluffy custard, pudding and oh so good vanilla wafers. YUM!
  • Thank you
  • Thank u both so much for your words of encouragement. I have been sticking to eating right and exercising everyday since the 1st. So far so good. I'm willing to achieve my goals and haven't thrown in the towel yet. I know I can do this. Reading these post ensures me that I have a great community to lean on to help me…
  • Hi, I'm happy to be your virtual workout buddy. I was never into working out and then xmas 2019 happened and I felt like I looked horrible. Started getting into fitness January 2020 using YouTube videos and I'm loving it. So I guess what im saying is we can all use that extra push and motivation and I need all I can get.…
