Glad you’ve come back! I think we are all on a similar journey here. It’s great that we can encourage each other on this journey. We just have to take it one day at a time. I have to remind myself this is a long process and to take it slowly. Welcome back and keep going on the workouts. Even though you didn’t finish, you…

I’ve tried the low fat mayo’s and didn’t like the taste so it was easier for me to give it up. I will definitely try the the sugar free creamers for coffee. I usually drink coffee every morning. I also like the Danon light n fit yogurt and like the protein it has. Have a great week!

I have a question for all of you. Has anyone ever used a registered dietician as part of their weight loss journey in combination with MFP? I've been wondering about this and thinking this might be another tool to use with MFP. Any feedback on this is greatly appreciated.

I finally gave up Mayo. I grew up with Blue Plate Mayo in our house because that's what my grandmother used. I've always used it on sandwiches and burgers. Now, I just use mustard, but sometimes I use spicy mustard if I want a different taste. If I want something sweet, I usually have an apple cinnamon rice cake with a…

@Poobah1972 Thanks for the motivation and encouragement. I believe we are friends now. It took me forever to learn how to send a friend request. I'm just trying to focus on one day at a time and keep moving in the right direction. I'm focusing on eating my calories with MFP and staying on track that way. I log my food…

What made me feel good today was the great weather in GA. I can say that springtime is finally here with all of the flowers coming up and the new leaves on the trees. It was a gorgeous day and that certainly improves my mood since I work from home on a daily basis. Looking forward to a great week!

I can relate to all of the posts here. I have a love/hate relationship with the scale. It's awesome when you're down for the week, but miserable when you're up for the week. I weighed at the beginning and then two weeks in to see what was happening. I'm taking some advice from Bryan Ganey and I'm only going to weigh once a…

Hey everyone! I'm new here to this group and this is my first day finding the forums on MFP. I've been using the app for three weeks now. I'm a 45 years old and a husband and father of two girls. They are my biggest inspiration for me wanting to get healthy and change my lifestyle. Three weeks ago, I stepped on the scale…
