  • This is a great post and thank you! I've read through all of these and it helped tons! Program start weight 312 lb. Pre-surgery 8 months later 277lbs. Full goal weight hit at around 10 months post op of 147 lbs. Currently almost 3 years post op and 156 lbs. However, when I go past 157, I panic and get back to it. Female,…
  • Looking forward to watching your progress! It's an adventure but well worth it! 2+years post op-gastric bypass. Start program:312 lbs, pre-op after 8 months on program-277 lbs, current weight-156 lbs. Here for a few more lbs loss and maintenance but happy where I'm at too.
  • Hi! It seems like you are going normal after your surgery; weight loss pretty consistent as well. They don't say the first year is your honeymoon period for no reason. I am almost 3 years post-op and am now finally getting down to the way of eating that I want to balance nutrients but kinda miss the first year of not being…
  • Congratulations on the 5 years! I'm only 8 months out now and have had a great loss but am now getting some apatite back as well; mostly if I eat carbs, which I limit still within guidelines. Yep, we're all lifers when it comes right down to it for just learning to live healthy and eating right. How far are you going and…
  • I loved the ricotta bake! I'm 7 months down, 133 lbs lighter but still am having limits with foods. Just saw the Drs after my 6 month post op for the bypass and the labs are all looking good. Chicken is literally my favorite and yet I just can't stomach it at all. I also have different taste and it's just kind of blah to…
  • Thankfully, no more snow here but still cold. Sunshine peaks out now the last few days. We're here in NY-restrictions being lifted slowly. Entire family just had the vaccines the past week and pretty much working. Hoping to garden a bit soon but still a bit cool. Hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week and Spring…
  • Sitting in the car and feeling tiny in the seat with the seatbelt comfortable. Wearing normal shoes and being able to walk very quickly, bend easily and with speed and still feel energized after a long shift at the factory on my feet without excruciating pain. 133 lbs loss and feeling like a totally different person!
  • Me with my husband and daughter at 312 lbs then with my husband and our chihuahuas at 160 lbs last month
  • I've lost 133 lbs now in the last year and am so happy with being around 160. My goal weight is 145 but I'm ok with slowing it down and focusing on eating healthy. I have a mini-goal to be down a bit more though for our 11th (was our 10th but had to be moved for covid) anniversary vow renewal and celebration. I actually…
