So easy to stop logging in when you miss a few days. At least, I'm back contributing to our group walk from Jerusalem to London on worldwalking.com. We are currently in Belgrade, Serbia

I am one of the refugees from Spark People determined to continue my nearly 12 years of maintenance over here My main tool is to weigh myself first thing every morning in my PJs. Fluctuations don't bother me. Fluctuate means up AND down. If the scale only goes up day after day after day, that's not fluctuations, it's a…

Hello, Brooklyn_Born here and I like MFP very much. Eileen

I've reduced the anti inflammatory tablets by half (1 a day) and the voltarin gel also by half (just morning and night). Increasing walking distance VERY gradually by .2 mile each day. Rehab is on pause except for the home exercises which I continue to do. So far so good. MRI is tomorrow. We will see.

Finally decided to get an MRI on my knee. Rehab has not solved the problem after my stupidity injury June 1st. Dr gave me prescription anti inflammatory meds (tablets and creme) that made a big difference in 48 hours. Now gradually reducing them. MRI is Aug 9th

My AHA moment happened in December 2008. I had just run my slowest 5k time ever and still at age 61 I won my age group and was being cheered. After all I was an "old lady" I knew I couldn't train any harder and I was already drinking only water as my beverage of choice. Could it be the 25 extra pounds I was dragging…

Glad to hear of all the necessary maintenance being taken care of. My big accomplishment today is walking 106 steps down to our dock and back up Accomplish #2 posting a photo here. Hope it works

Really liking the food tracker here. Working on connections with others. After all, community is what we make it. One month in rehab after my stupidity injury. Getting impatient but therapist reminded me that when I got there I couldn't even put my weight on my right leg. Must focus on improvement.

Hello, another Spark refugee here. Nice to see familiar names

I like a lot of the features here. Groups are like teams and they are as successful as we choose to make them. Haven't tried the food tracker yet since my weight is stable, but I remember that I like it the last time I was here years ago.

@MadisonMolly2017 You asked "What are some of the things you’ve done to be so successful!!!" When I realized the dismal regain statistics, I decided to weigh myself every morning in my PJs. I expect fluctuations, but that means up AND down. If my daily weight only goes UP day after day, that's not a fluctuation, it's a…

Just posted a blog which included trying to get a picture included. It "kind" of worked. More experimenting to do. Good thing I like learning new stuff. I'm retired so time isn't a problem. Advice/suggestions welcome

Hello, another refugee from Spark here. Posted my first blog and have some questions about procedure (graphics? links? Saving my edits?). Also looking for other refugees and looking forward to finding new friends as well.

Another Spark refugee here. I was VERY active over there and it took me awhile to move all my blogs to my website. Surprise! The account I opened over her 12 years ago was still active. So I am still Brooklyn_Born.
