I like @Catwmncat 's proposal to focus on Protein - maybe for week 8 or 7 and 8. I think tracking is always a good one to include because it's an easy one to get away from and we sometimes don't realize how many calories we're eating.

Fit Force Captain checking in here.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thanks - Bonnie had been assigned to our team but due to poor health - actually a bit of a health emergency as we began the challenge, she was unable to join the team for Week 1.
-
@Ceriusly1 - Thanks for posting this. I usually try to post a weekly report for my team focusing mainly on our results and standings, but I haven't done that yet for Week one, so this is great for those who want to check it out.
-
@TEXASTITCHER - Jo Ann I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. That's definitely a tough one. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.

One of our Fit Force leaders manniecat - Bonnie - has been very ill and went to the hospital on Saturday night. A CT scan found a mass in her abdomen so she was referred to an oncologist whom she saw yesterday. She has a lot of fluid in her abdomen which has been making her fell nauseous. A procedure to drain the fluid…

@Ceriusly1 - I'm sorry to learn about the passing of your uncle. Hugs to you.
-
So sorry to hear this news about Denise whom I've encountered only on our IBC team. Hugs and prayers coming your way as you deal with this battle. May you be at peace in the days and weeks ahead.
-
I just saw that Ceri - Will do!
-
Plans are in place - some have been for years - and workout clothes are always at the ready. I have food scales and a new water bottle.
-
As a leader with responsibilities, I do check in daily and I have a set routine for getting in my daily exercise (with an alternate plan in place in the event that I sleep in or something else interferes).
-
Mindful vs Emotional Eating I've spent the IBC working on making at least two meals a day last for 20 minutes. It's something that I have done in the past and got away from for a while. Generally I am a mindful eater, but I know that when I am overtired especially, not feeling well, and sometimes bored, I am an emotional…

Exercise - 90-120 minutes, 6 days/week; 30-60 minutes (mostly stretching) on rest days. Workouts will consist of a combination of Pahla B videos (cardio/ST/balance), stretching, dancing, walking. Most exercise will be done each morning before breakfast. Some exercise might occur in the afternoons (walking)
-
Following the principles of the Whole Body Reset plan, I will *aim for 25-30 g protein per meal (90g per day), minimum of 5 g fibre per meal (25-30 g per day), 2 g fibre/5 g protein per snack * 5 freggies/day * aim to achieve calorie target daily (+/- 50) Continue to work on 20 minute meals at least 2x daily, pay attention…
-
Exercise - 6 days with stretching/light workout one day a week (rest day) Nutrition - Follow Whole Body Reset for eating plan. Movement - Set a daily step goal and get up and move every hour to achieve it. Weight - Work towards achieving my 5% goal or at least half of it. Mind Over Matter - Do 5 minutes of daily journalling
-
Goals - In the new year it's always to lose the few extra pounds that come to visit during the holidays - and to make them disappear quickly since most are water or bloating weight. I do want to make a greater effort to follow the "Whole Body Reset" where I am achieving set protein and fibre goals which each meal, because…
