I'll bet the main course is Spam?

SparkPeople didn't end till August of 2021.

The edit box looks different, but I can't figure out why... anyway, it appears to be working again.
-
You can work around it by adding a corrected version of your item and then deleting the incorrect one. Hope it doesn't take long, 'cause I'm prone to mistakes.

More than a few and more than pesky... way to go! 👍😊

I just passed my 44th year of sobriety and a couple of years after getting a handle on alcohol and pot I gave up cigarettes. None of that was easy and I still stay on my toes after all these years. But... those things can be compartmentalized and avoided altogether. I never have to even be near smoke of any kind and have…

Yay! Hope it's back for everybody, 'cause mine is working. 👍👍

I got an email today telling me they're still working on it. Not very inspiring, but I don't think they've abandoned us.

I think this malfunction applies only to those who use the desktop version of the food diary?
-
That was actually my first thought. I'm wondering if upgrading would fix it? Almost worth the $70 just to uncover that sort of duplicity?
-
Got it. Ours is $19.99 monthly or If you pay annually it's around $70 US which makes it about $105 AUD according to the Google converter. A 67% discount for paying annually, but as you say, if it doesn't work, it's no bargain at any price. I'm guessing tech support is on a weekday-only schedule? In reply to the poster that…

$300??

I contacted tech support and went through the usual resets, etc... now they say it has been escalated to level two. I have a hard time with cell phones due to visual impairment, so I hope this works out soon.

Asking here is as good as any. What specific thing do you want to know? One thing at a time is easiest.

Find the "Quote" button under the post you want to reply to if you want to reply to a specific post. Just go to the bottom of the feed and add a comment if you just want to add to the stream. As far as chili or anything else you put together from scratch, the first time is the worst because you have to find and enter every…

Exercise. It's good for depression, losing weight, stretching and rehabbing arthritic joints, etc, etc. Find small things like very short walks, chair exercises, and more that you both can and will do. The key is to get started and never quit. I know what you mean about diabetes scaring the heck out of you. In April of…

Shellfish, beans, chickpeas, lentils, dark chocolate (my go-to 😉), fish (be choosy due to mercury), nuts, and more. I started at age fifty-nine with Sparkpeople in 2005 and lost 100 pounds, then slowly gained back over half of it by forgetting the most important part... maintenance. I had a restart in 2014 motivated by…

I don't know about new tricks, but we can repeat the old ones for you because that's what works... the things others have used to succeed long before we got here. The key is first to start, then never, ever quit. Start or restart small and build good habits into a program of healthy living one step and one day at a time.…

One Meal A Day?

Something sounds off to me. First, the free version is just that... free. It works for most. If you find after trying the free version that you want more control, then the Premium version is $49.99 a year or $9.99 a month (in USD), so secondly, unless something has recently changed then something is not right with a $79.00…

Sounds like a plan and I agree with everything except the 'reward' of food part. Go for it! 👍👍
-
No. Everything works for free, but I think you get some more flexibility with macros if you track them.

Go to "my home" and click the "community" tab... then, about halfway across find the tab for "Blogs". I found about 400 since the first of the year. Let us know if that doesn't work.

Old sayings... everybody hates 'em. Try, try, and try again. Never give up, etc, etc. I can't tell you that my numbers are anywhere near accurate, but it gets my point across. I had a bad drinking problem and tried to quit at least a hundred times. I'm glad I didn't give up on the 99th try because in two months I will…

Start with a small step and add to it. The one rule to concentrate on is to do better than you did yesterday. Unreasonable goals can do more harm than good. Start your program slowly and add to it gradually... never quit! This new way of living is permanent if you allow it to be. I lost most of my arthritis pain, my…

Welcome to the new folk. Now that you're started, there's only one thing to remember... never, ever quit! 🕺
-
Welcome to all the newcomers... get fit, never quit! 👍

The only "secret" I can offer you is persistence. Fall down seven times, get up eight. Never, ever quit! Best wishes for success.
