Happy New Year to you both! And well done @Catfish_Fan. That is quite an accomplishment. My page count wasn’t quite so impressive- 9,624 pages. Still working my way through The Station. Maybe not the best choice to read while dealing with all the extra year end stuff at work. I don’t usually have a problem with the back…

Wishing you all books under the Christmas Tree!

I've never read any Michener either but have always wanted to give him a try. Maybe, after I make a dent in the TBR mountain. The last couple of months I've been adding to it faster than I am reading from it.

Finished The Bean Trees - Barbara Kingsolver - was a sweet little story. Next up The Station - Emily St. John Mandel

Great job!!!!! Sometimes deviating from the plan is more fun!

I hit my Goodreads reading goal over the weekend. 28 books. Except some of them were more novellas or short stories than full books. So I expect my year end page count will be quite lower than last. Oh well I still have a month to log more reading. Love my own blissful oblivion @Catfish_Fan

Finished A Head Full of Ghosts - Paul Tremblay 5 stars Next The Bean Trees - Barbara Kingsolver
-
The Order of the Phoenix was my favorite book of the series - I hope you enjoy it.
-
-
Finished Conclave - Robert Harris 5* I'll be honest - I thought it moved a little slow for all the hype of intrigue until the last couple of pages. I truly did not see that ending coming. Wow! Next up A Head Full of Ghosts - Paul Tremblay
-
Finished Three Wishes - Lianne Moriarty - really enjoyed it. Just the light reading I was looking for. Next - Conclave by Robert Harris
-
Finished The Rules of Magic - Alice Hoffman. 5***** I really am loving reading these books. Next up is Three Wishes - Lianne Moriarty
-
Well done - especially with all that has happened in 2 years.
-
Finished Tell No One by Harlan Coben 5* Now reading The Rules of Magic - Alice Hoffman.
-
I read his Mercy trilogy and really enjoyed it. He's written so much. I definitely will have to check out A Calamity of Souls.
-
Finished Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman 5* - I just loved this book. I wasn't sure I was going to when I started it. Isn't just great when you reach the end of a book that started out slow and find that it was well worth the effort. Going to start Tell No One by Harlan Coben next.

Good luck with the peppers. I hope they dry well. I used to fire roast and freeze green chilis for use when they are out of season. May have to try that again. The tea looks lovely.

@FitMary202 so glad you got your Kindle issue sorted out with the help of @Catfish_Fan. Fortunately for you both you can't hear me singing "I get by with a little help from my friends". LOL! I'm terribly tone deaf.
-
@mainey65 - nice to meet you - anyway you want to post works here! None of currently on this group is the owner of it so we are pretty laid back. Look forward to hearing more about the books you are reading.

@Catfish_Fan - I for one am definitely enjoying your pictures. Love herbal teas - maybe they are called tea because you brew them like tea? - One brand - Traditional Medicinals - is geared to a tea for what ails you. Their Breathe Easy certainly helps my allergies. And their Chamomile and Lavendar is great for relaxing in…

Love oolong tea - the journey through your teas is cool too!
-
Love your tea comparison - I love loose leaf teas.
-
Finished The Witch Elm - Tana French. It was good, but I liked The Searcher better. Now reading Magic Lessons - Alice Hoffman. I loved the movie Practical Magic when it came out. So of course I got the book, which was very different from the movie. One of the few times I've liked a movie better than the book. So going to…

That sounds yummy! I may have to look around for that one.

I just love London Fog lattes! We should be cooling down here soon and I can go back to my tea drinking. It's hard to drink hot tea when it's 110+ outside.
-
Well done!
-
Looks lovely - can't wait for Phoenix to cool off a little more so I can actually enjoy a hot cup of tea,

135 days as of this morning - down 20 pounds

@Catfish_Fan - that's an impressive page count. It's around what I read in a year. I'd be hard pressed to finish a book in 2 days. I'd have to do nothing but read, and that is usually not an option unless I'm sick and confined to bed.

Yep - nothing like someone banning a book to make me want to read it. Finished The Exchange - John Grisham - was a good follow up to the characters in The Firm, and so much better that The Boys From Biloxi. I always enjoyed his books, but lately they seem to be hit or miss. This one was a hit for me. Now reading The Witch…
