MFP staff, thank you for returning to the older version. It is so appealing, easy to work. Some of us have more difficulty than others learning to go with the flow of the changes we saw.

MFP has just rolled the Food Diary back to its previous version. However, according to @Hudson this is a temporary change until they get some bugs corrected (am I stating this correctly, @Hudson?), then they will roll out this new template. Hope it is as ergonomic and efficient as the one that has worked well for years.…

Seen enough yet? What were you all thinking? ChatGPT sums it up well.

Someone must really want to run off the members here, to change the Food Diary to something that terrible. Hope you are listening and can reverse this terrible change. What were you thinking?

The Food Diary on the website was not broke, but you fixed it. Horrible. It is nowhere near ergonomic, some of the values don't change unless you refresh the page. Don't know why it has been changed. Yesterday's version, which has been there for quite some time, was seasoned, effective and efficient. Please change it back…

The Edit Quantity started working today. Will update if any changes.

Seems MFP has forgotten or dissed the number of people who helped tune the barcode scanner and helped make the food database one of the best nutrition wikis on the internet.

It may be that as soon as your app is updated on your phone, your barcode scanning will not work without premium. I've been using MFP for 1.5 years, not sure if that still means I'm a newbie, but as of 1-Oct my app scanning was disabled. Turning off the barcode scanner after having it for so long is very distasteful. Like…

Having the barcode scanner available on the free app for so long, then disabling it, is very distasteful. I used the barcode scanner often, even refining with a better match when applicable, to improve it for the community. No doubt others did to. That contribution obviously means nothing. If if the standard schtick reply…

MFP, lose this annoying popup whenever goal percentages are updated on the website:

An update to my recipe (that did not work yesterday) is now working. Thank you, @Nova .
-
Updating or creating a recipe returns this "error happened - try later" message. Hoping this will be fixed soon. You're losing people's confidence quickly.

The relog screen is showing up almost every time you go back to Home (on the website). Instead of someone fixing it, they're making it worse. Hope this is because someone is trying to fix it and succeeds. Avoiding an expiring website is fundamentally close to HTML 101 (or Kindergarten).
-
Seems this began happening this month. I noticed that different web pages are setting the expiration date cookie differently, so it may be possible some page is expiring it. Something wasn't broke, yet someone fixed it good. 😵

Is it possible to see more Nutrients-Tracked columns on the website? Would be great to see one's running totals/percentages in addition to the macros, especially the vitamins and iron.
