I haven't taken it but I've read a lot of the literature on it. In short, yes it will help you lose weight, basically it halves your fat absorption so if you eat 400 calories of fat a day (45 grams or so) it'll be as if you ate 200. Hey everyone, also new to the team. I'm a 33 year old male software developer in the UK suffering from long term obesity (415 lbs as of this morning). I've started back up on MFP as well as gotten the obligatory gym membership and hoping to make it stick this time as I've got a long journey ahead of me.
