damn what a time Warp! I can’t believe it’s been a month already. Congrats Astal and what a nice way to land the plane. I really like what you said about being in it and it’s slow and feels like you’re not going anywhere, but at the end, when you look back it’s like wow, I’ve come so far! that’s the attitude of a winner.…

Nah, life happens. You got thrown a curve ball, and dealt with it like a champ. Like the saying goes, fall down 7 get up 8! That's how you win, and you're back in that saddle again. Wedding and Tea party sounds dope, Skunk, not so much.

Hey Astral, I'm glad you're enjoying the podcast. I like listening to intelligent data driven observations! Oh and I'm not sure if you're using perplexity for search 2.0 and research, or maybe something else, but this works really well as a use case for AI, here's the generated summary on that talk. Enjoy and see if this…

sounds like someone has the making of a good exercise tracking app! Let us know once you get it out there or you find something that hits the spot. I’m starting to appreciate the benefits of tracking, even though it goes against every one of my fibers to be so intentional.

Nice results and great Work Astral! The hack of talking about it. So powerful. Oh if I didn’t mention it (must have lost the message or something) the breakdown of all the podcast talk is that you’re doing Everything right. I think is funny that you just mentioned that an 11lbs weight restriction is “slow” for 2-3 months.…

Oh, edit to the Above, a much better protein discussion is this one: #224 ‒ Dietary protein: amount needed, ideal timing, quality, and more | Don Layman, Ph.D. - Peter Attia It's long, so 2x (plus) speed is recommended. But then again, its technical at points and I'm like wait, I can get behind this bio chemistry.

Hey Killer, I totally agree, no matter what I think I know, the more I know the more I feel like I need to learn. That being said, the other side of that coin is that once you're sure of everting, that is the beiging of your downfall. All to say that learning is an always, and a MUST. So I got back to "re-learning"…

I never thought about Tai Chi, and we’ll kick boxing is tough. I liane it. Possibly, a good option if the dojo is near by. Can’t wait to do some research and get on it.

yes great point it turns out that people used to get older exercise and just doing every day activities. And it also turns out that’s kind of what our bodies were built for or at least what they evolved to be good at. But recently we’ve turned all that evolution on its head. That said I said get out in nature as much as…

Hey Astral, really with that coffee date only. I’m using that just and skipping any pastries, blah blah blah. I think it’s the right move. One quick question for you and I’m really curious about your nutrition here. Are the protein shakes included to get your protein to a level where you’re expecting to grow or gain…

Astral, this sound really spot on for the a normal healthy lifestyle slice of life. I think you hit all the right marks. I'm starting to feel the itch of doing this same accountability. I'm not logging in the app at all. luckily some weight is coming off.

Hey Astral, I feel the same about Pull ups, chin ups, etc. I'm finally starting to make some un assisted progress myself. I wanted to share the vid. Charles R. Poliquin (Strength Sensei) and reknow coach. I don't think we'll turn into the terminator, but its worth a shot biceps. Also, loved reading the idea of a health…

Thank you SO much for this incredible insight! 🙏 I'm sorry for the loss of your husband - sounds like he had real passion for teaching. Your 8 years of experience gives me hope that starting later is totally doable! I had no idea there were different types of Tai Chi (martial vs. meditative) - that opens up way more…

A martial art that saved your own life in real world events. That's amazing (GLAD YOU WALKED AWAY ALIVE) and so insightful. Aikido wasn't even on my radar.. I mean, I did pick up Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere a long time ago, but didn't get into it as much as I thought I would. But this is something to reconsider. THANKYOU…

I think you should both as you can. So, walking is great exercise, you won't have to "warm UP", you can add some weight like a backpack with a few water bottles 1-4 liters, or something, that will add resistance, and effort to get your heartrate up. SO yeah, do it as a work out or just more otfen during the day. it's great…

wow dat 3! Statement about steak and salt redacted! I was going to say, that creatine should get water into your muscles and that’s a good thing, as it certainly enhances performance both physically and mentally. And we’re like 65-70% water which makes muscles something of the same portion, so bigger muscles will require…

wow! This is such a good set up to follow. It’s almost classic body building or at least body building adjacent. And let’s be honest, nobody out there knows more about nutrition than competitive bodybuilders. It’s a compliment. You should be extra proud of fighting off the cravings. Cause again, diet isn’t all about what…

Sadi, you're GOOD-People. I know you'll go far (and smiling all the way I might add). Let's do this… I've got like 10 lbs to lose, but for some reason, those are the HARDEST. Makes me curse a lot, but like in a friendly dumb uncle way… Seems like I'll have to get serious…

Sadi, the post is so inspiring. And the transformation, AMAZING.🤩 Now imagine if you’d done nothing to get healthier in that same time. Sure, easy choices, but a harder life. Tough choices lead to an easier one. You're way stronger now I bet, probably handling anything without much stress. Appreciate you sharing, as this…

Oh Hi. I'm currently doing a very simple one. It's a take on Pavel's Quick and the dead program Here's a great explanation I do 6-9 rounds, KB dead-lifts not swings, 45s, push-ups, 45s, then rows right side (6-8 reps) 30s, left side (same) 30s. I mentions this because the rows are not in the original program, but I want to…

Hey Guys. I've used the app before, maybe for a day, a week, but never consistently. I'm hoping some friends my make this a place to visit more often. So, feel free to add me, and Let's get it!

Hey Katelyn, As a former athlete you might be able to jump right back to being in super fit shape in no time. I just started up again, with simple 7min workout daily (1-2 rounds depending on time), making some steady progress there, and now I've added some running, in just he past 2 months, I'm down nearly 10 lbs and best…

Great move, for lunch, I love the BLACKBERRIES (my all time favorite), so lunch seems 😍. Oh, I have one idea for you, this is simply around breakfast, not sure if you've already incorporated it, but here goes Strategic Eating Timing ( Breakfast ) Eat within one hour of waking to kickstart metabolism 30 grams of protein…
