For me what works is having some form of protein in the late afternoon (usually between 1 and 3 pm). It can be a couple of eggs, some tofu, or tuna most of the time.

The losertown calculator has always worked for me. But it might be more simplistic than other calculators. If all else fails you can look up the formulas the calculators use and put them in excel or some other spreadsheet program. Nobody can take that down.
