  • When I first started in 2012 I had a streak of over 2000 days, but been off and on here over time. Currently closing in on 300 with no intention of stopping!
  • I'm a 16:8 most days, sometimes 14:10 but it does make a difference.
  • I'm at 51 down right now. Yes it is noticeable. But I have to agree, it's hard for me to see myself as smaller. I literally just told myself that what I am wearing today is not flattering because I feel fat! When I look in the mirror, I do not always see what is there. My doctor said that there are various forms of body…
  • Seems I missed a couple of weeks.. SW 227.8 LW: 179.6 TW: 178.6 GW:140
  • GW: 140 lbs Weigh In Info - Sep 25, 2023 LW: 181.1 lbs TW: 179.6 lbs Variance:- 1.5 lbs I will take any and all decreases.
  • SW: 227.8 GW: 140-ish LW: 182.4 (Sept 5) TW: 181.1 Total Loss to Date: 46.7 Every time I get close to a milestone (whether it's a decade down on the scale or a weight decade), it seems to take a million years to achieve it. But then I remember ...marathon not a sprint!!!
  • SW: 227.8 GW: 140-ish TW:182.4 LW: 185 (GRRRRR) Total Lost: 45.4 May have finally broken the plateau...steady decline for the past 5 days so I know it's not water.
  • I track my food...I find it really helpful to see where I am with nutrients etc. I am with a medical programme so I meet with a dietician monthly so we always go over food and various options. I know that a lot of people will say that they do not track, and I think its a personal thing. I have always tracked because it…
  • SW:227.8 GW: 140-ish CW: 185 (UGH) TL: 42.8 ( and I am damned proud of that!!!) So that's a slight gain. Really, tho I should not be surprised, I have been eating rather carelessly for the past few weeks, but I was super focused yesterday, literally right on my cal goal (like bang on) and my protein was fantastic, which is…
  • GW: 140 LW:182.8 TW: 183.3 Variance: .5 Stupid plateaus are really frosting my feathers. I'm over this same 1-1.5lbs bouncing around.
  • SW:227.8 GW:140-145 CW:181.8 Date of WI: Aug 14 It's been a very slow path...plateaus often, but at least the scale is still heading in the right direction, albeit very slowly.
  • SW:227.8 LW:184 TW:183 GW:140 TL: 44.8 (that .8 is important!) Lost a pound this week which I will take since I seemed to be stalled!!
  • GW: 140 SW: 227.8 Weight July 28: 184 Totally stalled at this weight all week. Was hoping to break the plateau by today, but it is what it is.
  • GW: 140 (or so) Weigh In Info: July 17, 2023 LW: My first week here (But my starting weight was 227.8 in Dec 2022) TW: 185 Love being held accountable. I sometimes think that I can just veer off course out of cockiness, but then the scale corrects that attitude...rudely sometimes!!!
  • My butt fit into our Season Ticket seats at the Jays game.
  • LOG IT ALL Not logging a food group reminds me of the WW practice of "free foods" and Zero Point foods. Eat as much as you want of certain things (I.E. eggs) and they don't need to be tracked. But calories are still there. I log everything, weigh everything (ok, I don't technically measure out my water but I know how much…
  • You will find that since you are eating less (and you will need to figure out what works best for you nutritionally), at some point you will plateau. You won't really want to decrease calories too much, so the only other way to get your calorie deficit will be to exercise. I added walking (and some stretching) in while I…
  • I saw a great post from an Ozempic user here in Ontario. She said that this whole Ozempic face issue is really stupid. If you lose fat in your face it will of course show any wrinkles or cheek hollows. They were there already, but your fat was "filling them out". I lost quite a bit from my face and neck at first and yes,…
  • It's sad eh? I battled with myself when I made the decision to get help with my weight, I felt like I was taking the easy way out. I have only told a handful of ppl, my 2 BFFs and my boss. The hubs knows of course, but I haven't told my family. They just all suspect me of "being on another diet". But why do we have to feel…
  • I'm in...I posted a long accountability post this morning, but I'm here now too.
  • I get that. I'm tired (but I have a form of anemia so I'm always tired) but I'm falling asleep in the evenings now.
  • I'm currently sitting on a stupid plateau as well. And I'm not really concerned (well for now anyway). Right now it's more of a battle with the scale not giving me the .3lbs that I need to get to Onderland. Plus I set a goal of 30lbs by my vacation (set that at 25lbs down and 6 weeks to go so a very realistic goal based on…
  • Two ppl at work commented today on how slim I look. And all of my rings are too loose!
  • Not complaining at all. There is no one size fits all (don't we all know that) solution to getting to the weight that we all want to live life at. I know it's hard, but really focus on the water intake and try to eat slowly, like super slowly. My doctor did mention that Ozempic doesn't always work for everyone, or maybe…
  • This was my situation totally. I knew all the right things to do and to eat. Did I do it all the time? Hell no, but that's because I am human. I will take all the help that I can get. If it means a script, sure. Lots of ppl take meds to live healthy lives, if I'm one of them, so be it!!!
  • It's very easy to eat too few calories now. I find that I do best when I focus on eating the protein and veg first then add in the carbs...at least by the time I get full, I have consumed the healthiest part of my food. I also found that Ginger Gravol works well, if I have any nausea (only happen once after a shot, and if…
  • Love this group. So happy that I stumbled upon it. I'm so lucky to be located in the Niagara Region, so I have lots of hiking access...the Bruce Trail, a million conservation areas and literally hundreds of waterfalls (other that that over famous over achiever). I vowed to get back out to the trails this year. I had…
  • You'll find that you will get full very quickly. I have started to focus on first eating all my protein and veg from my meal before I dive into the the carbs, cuz I'm usually pretty filled up by then. I have less cravings for sweets, and if I do, I find that I can satisfy the craving with a coffee or some yogurt.
  • Meal prep just seems daunting at first. It can be as simple as cooking up some chicken and portioning it out for various meals, or as "involved" as preparing entire meals and keeping them in the fridge or freezer. I can help (been doing it for years in various ways). Msg me
