Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I figured out what was going wrong. I didn't take into account that I was under my daily calories the day before, I had slept terribly, I was trying to go from fairly unhealthy to "super healthy " too quickly, and I was trying to save calories for dinner, forgetting that I am usually…

Hmm...you might be on to something about the protein. I ate a lot of low calorie food (fruit, vegetables, popcorn), but it wasn't very high in protein. Thanks for the suggestion. I also had a nap and felt a little better, so tiredness may have affected my appetite/pain levels too.

I also found the "at this rate you will be..." extremely discouraging. It also was nudging me towards unhealthy eating patterns. Like an above commenter said, I no longer press that button. It still records the diary entry, and I don't need to have the disheartening message.

Not knowing anything about you, or your situation, I'd suggest you aren't eating enough. 1200 is not a lot of calories (That's roughly what a 34 year old, 4'7", 100 lbs. sedentary woman needs to maintain her weight in a day.)
