Noooot off to a great start this month - 2 A days (both planned) but more so on the too many drinks side. Stickling with AF the rest of this work week, and reallllly focused on no more than 3 on any given day.

I'm in! Sticking to my previous goals, 12-16 AF days in April, low to moderate drink counts (ideally 3 is high). I hit my goal in March with 15 AF days so feeling optimistic

@mfowler883 I totally get what you mean- it's so prevalent in movies and shows, and in the past I made it a habit to have a glass of wine while watching (I'm looking at you Sex and the City and Game of Thrones....)
-
@Fursian welcome! I totally understand - I'm getting better at AF days but my monthly drink count has not gone on a similar slope (I track it a few different ways but only post AF/A days here). Speaking of- for this month, 13 AF/14 A - dont usually drink during the week so I expect to end up 16 AF/15 A but will confirm…

@globalhiker 100% relate to this! Some days it takes a bit more effort to resist the post-work beverages.

Checking in to keep myself accountable...kept to my no-weeknight rule last week so that was good but for some reason did not stick to my intake goals at ALL...4-5 drinks each day Fri-Sun. 10 A days, 9 AF (10 if you count tonight). Focus for this week/weekend will be on not only the frequency but amount.

I totally understand this! I feel like the hardest time for me to stick to goals is when I've already started, especially like you said if I didn't plan and or/track.

They have some really cute Spring/Easter crafts! We got a few sets of wood pieces to paint (cars and flowers) and I couldn't resist these little bunny family pieces: https://www.target.com/p/3pc-freestanding-wood-base-3d-bunny---mondo-llama--8482-/-/A-86870682 By the time we got home from Target and dinner we didn't have…

It is only 2:45 EST and I am already trying to resist a post-workday glass of wine (one of those days) - luckily DH is on work travel so I have the kiddos which in itself is both a reason to stay strong and a distraction  just to be sure, planning a Target trip to get some spring crafts and get out of the house. AF…

Thank you @MissMay for keeping these going and to everyone here for the motivation and support! Did not finish Feb where I wanted to in terms of AF days OR goal of not overdoing it - but that's why we keep moving forward right? Goals for March are the same as last month- 12-16 AF days, limited weekday drinking (if at all),…

Welp last post for Feb, already know how tomorrow will go so posting now. Did not finish strong, trying not to beat myself up too much but at the same time reminding myself that journeys are rarely linear (especially ones that challenge our ingrained habits like weight loss and cutting back on alcohol!) Need to celebrate…

Logging for accountability- finding myself slipping more and more so need to refocus on my goals - particularly when out of my routine For this month, 12 A/7 AF Big ole bear hugs going out to everyone struggling with health (yours and fur babies!) and work issues!

Good morning all! I did break my rule last night for weeknight drinks, but DH is out of town for work so I figured once the kids were in bed, one glass is acceptable for my solo Valentine's day- and I stuck with it! Many times 1 turns into 2, maybe more so I was actually proud of myself for savoring the one glass and then…

Ooof did not stick to plan for SB Sunday  I'm more annoyed at myself because I know exactly when I should have stopped and just...didnt. Back on board today, and determined to not let the one setback impact the rest of my day- healthy eating and making to get some movement in! 5 AF/7 A

100% agree- I was thinking back over my journey and it's been definite baby steps...1 day/week dry, then 2 days, and many days there's still the craving...

Not off a solid start this month...4 A/1 AF this month so far. When I'm in my routine I can usually stick to my goals, so new additional goal for this month is to work on sticking to it even when things pop up. Planning AH through Thursday so that should rightsize my numbers a bit and get me back on track mentally as well!

1 A/1 AF this month so far- Wednesday was an intentional slip due to a neighborhood party but kept to 2 drinks overall - glass of prosecco at the party and a small Jameson as a nightcap with my husband. The interesting thing to me was that having a drink on Wednesday when I have been very intent on cutting back during the…

I downloaded Reframe in January! I find it very helpful and enjoy the daily tips but I think it will be more temporary for me versus something I want to rely on long term. Overall it's a great resource to stay mindful and provides insightful information to help remember our "why"

Hello again all- posted first time last month, this time ready to begin tracking Goal for this month is 12-16 days AF, keeping most A days to weekends and even then not going to excess Bit of background- similar to others I've started and stopped a few times, particularly when pregnant for obvious reasons. However in…

Happy New Year! I've lurked this thread for a couple of months and taking a little leap to post my own story and goals! I noticed about 6-7 months ago (and not for the first time truthfully) that my drinking was affecting my health and weight loss goals- took a very long time to start incorporating better habits but before…
