This will actually be my 4th. I had L4-L5 fusion 5 years ago, c5-c6 fusion last year, L5-S1 discectomy in December that failed and now will be a fusion. The surgeon says that some people are just more genetically inclined to have ruptured discs. This one is going to be a rough recovery.
