@ladyluk1 Sending continued prayers for you and your medical team. Also, praying that the tests will give the doctors the answers they need to help you to a complete recovery. May you rest in God’s promise to be with you through all of this. 🙏❣️🙏
-
@Dianedoessmiles1 I pray that your surgery went successfully yesterday. You will continue to be in my prayers for quick and “uneventful” healing. 😊🙏

@cormierannie I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart aches for you having to go through this devastating pain. You and all who are grieving are in my thoughts and prayers. May God surround you with His comfort and peace. 🙏💔🙏

Wow, didn’t even think about cleaning out my kitchen. That idea should have come automatically, but it didn’t. Thank you for that and for all of the pre-activities. It has definitely helped me make my plans! Good luck everyone on becoming healthier! 🏃♂️🍎🚴🏻♀️🥗🏋️♀️🫐😴👍

Made my appt on my calendar for every Sat. During the challenge. 👍

I remember being extremely stressed one night during one of the 5% challenges. I got up and started walking toward the kitchen. While doing so, I texted my 2 sisters (who were also doing the challenge) telling them that I was about to open a pack of Oreos. I asked them to “Help Me”. (They both live out of state, so what…

Had already written my exercise plan with my goals. Here they are: 1. Work out 5-6X/week (Committing to 4/5 days being at least 20 min in my aerobic/anaerobic zone, even dancing counts 😉) 1b. Plan my workouts for the week on Sunday evening and stick to the plan 2. Do my routine weight training 2-3x/week. (I teach 2…

My Food Plan is simply tracking what goes into my mouth on MFP. My breakfasts and lunches don’t vary much. The wild cards are usually our dinners. So, I will plan the week’s dinner meals on Sunday evening to keep from going outside my goals. If there is a “splurge” (company for dinner, etc.) I will plan to enter the…

My life has seemed so out of control this past year, I need to refocus and I think this is going to help me greatly. Sorry that this is so long, but I need to write it all down before any interruptions. Pre-challenge Activity #2: ~ Why? I know that exercise and healthy weight will allow me to stay active and alert as I…

I did my first 5% challenge about a year and a half ago and I did pretty well. The next few challenges that I’ve done, I seemed to sabotage myself and my self discipline. I am back this time, because I want to prove to myself that can stay on task. I believe in this program and I know that I can do it.

@gintex2021 Hi and welcome to MFP. I guess I am not so much a success story like the others talked about. I’ve actually only been doing the 5% challenges for about a year and a half. Each time the invitations go out, I ask myself if I’m going to do it again? I have had some success on it, don’t get me wrong, but not as…

How many 5% Challenges have you done? I think 4 What do you like to do for fun? Read, spend time with family/friends, music of all kinds, take long, hot baths What major city do you live in or near? State? Green Bay, WI What are your health/fitness goals for this season? Trying to come up with the self-discipline that I…

@kaliswalker Lynn, I can’t imagine how many hours/days/weeks/months even years you have dedicated yourself to keeping this challenge going! This challenge touches the hearts of many of us who are doing it. As dianadoessmiles mentioned, it’s challenging enough to keep me motivated, but flexible enough that I can fit it into…

Wow, great question! What are my goals for this 5% challenge? Dh and I are attending a formal wedding in Scotland in 25 days from today and I want to feel more comfortable in my dress. What is more important than that is I keep moving toward these goals even after Scotland! So, I am actually glad that the challenge will…

Had a visitor yesterday! I was shocked when I came out of the bedroom and saw this one looking in the window. The deer usually aren’t that…hmm…friendly? We had just gotten another 2-3” of snow the night b/f, so I think it was looking for a handout. 😉 @Tabatha_Cain Congrats on only 98 days! I love that you’re counting it…

Good afternoon, Everyone! First off, want to thank all who posted the beautiful flower pics! @LindieMaeP @NovemberGail @jeanhickokhaley1 (Sorry if I missed anyone) I love flowers so much! (We live in the northern part of WI, called The Northwoods. We’re almost at the border of WI and the Upper Peninsula of MI.) Hubby and I…

I’ve been enjoying all of the posts earlier about putting gardens in and the warm weather. @NovemberGail, I love the snow, but…it is March already. I’m ready to get rid of all of this white stuff. 🙄

Hi Everyone. I’m not able to get to read all of the chats very often, but do enjoy it when I can. Love hearing what everyone is doing. This winter has been fun in that I’ve gotten to go hiking in AZ 2 different times. I think I’ve fallen in love with the red rocks! Living in the Northwoods in Wisconsin, it’s mostly forest…

There are so many beautiful nature pics posted! Love them. @LindieMaeP I see you are near Vancouver. It must still be a bit chilly there? I love the pics of your walks. Motivates me to get out there even though we still have over a foot of snow on the ground. 😊
