Update: I found where I can rename meals, and if I remove the name altogether it’ll hide that meal from the diary view. Go to Settings > Diary > Customize Meal names. HOWEVER, it will also hide any previous diary entries in the meal section, and I’m not sure if I want to do that right now. Still looking for a way to change…

Agreed-Favorites would be very handy!
