no. Don’t be delusional

No way to tell without giving a weekly calorie amount 4-6 weeks to sort things out
-
On an average, people underestimate their weekly calorie intake by 40%.

To reiterate, flabby at 112 means body composition is off. Get on a good lifting program, get your diet in order and forge ahead. If your goal is just to see the scale go down that is your right to do so. To each her own.

it sounds like you have no muscle mass.sometimes losing weight isn’t the answer.

IF is strictly for those that utilize it for calorie control. Your overall weekly caloies determine whether you lose weight or not. If IF causes you to consume fewer calories overall then it's beneficial. If it doesn't then it's a waste of time. If you enjoy a certain eating window for convenience then it's fine.

What exactly were you attempting to get out of this conversation? It sounded more like just a lead in for you to expound on your anecdotal views.

8 days will tell you nothing. Wait 4-6 weeks then review

doctors sometimes give terrible diet advice. Being that heavy is a product of poor food choices. Simply eliminating the junk food and alcohol alone makes a big difference. Start walking. Start there. Any knowledgeable MD would agree

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it so just keep doing what you’re doing. Many people, including myself don’t eat back exercise calories I just figure my weekly exercise into my weekly TDEE. Plus you don’t need to drink that much water.

The app is only a suggestion. If you’re comfortable with eating fewer calories than it suggests then that is a plus especially when you have so much fat to lose. Your actual calorie deficit can be determined after a couple months of dieting.

You won’t lose enough in two weeks to really make any kind of a difference so don’t stress yourself out with some crazy low calorie diet because you’re probably gonna be stressed enough already with the wedding so if you really want to lose the weight, just wait till after the wedding and do it properly fasting and low…

It's not a possibility, it's the only way you can lose weight.
-
You've been taking in fewer calories overall.
-
5 days is big, now just keep going.

Text yourself and describe that hangover day in detail and all the repercussions. When going to the store to buy alcohol read that text before getting out of your car and you will just go home empty handed. Been there done that. Good luck

That’s a pound a month so you need to cut out about 300 calories a day which would be a daily calorie deficit of around 180 a day. You’re a small woman so a large daily deficit is difficult. You’re at about 120 cals per day over your maintenance with a gain of 6 lbs in 6 months. 5-3 and 113 is already low so make sure…

You won’t tank your metabolism.. A couple of those points are “interesting “
-
Dieting down with your stats is probably not a good idea. Bump up the calories if your goal is muscle gain.
-
Weightloss will come from a consistent weekly calorie deficit. Oatmeal or any other food will not help you lose weight unless it fits within your overall calorie target. Oatmeal however IS a good choice in the morning. Adding protien power to it is not a bad idea.
-
Your diet will fail if you don't enjoy the food. If you don't like something find a substitute as there are no foods that are mandatory Once you lose the weight you'll have to pretty much stick to the diet that got you there so you need to think long term.

Lol, Dr. Mike is the best. Also look to Memmo Henselmens for great info https://youtu.be/aJFiGC13xIw?si=Rg8Fuz0NcWwZUwlL

The gym is fine and it does burn some calories and amazing for health and muscle retention however understand that a big majority of your fatloss comes from your diet.
-
you want to start weighing your food instead of using measuring cups and also when you pull foods off of the database, do you want to be sure you’re not choosing entries that show calories that are too low. Many people do that and that really causes issues with correct counting. Figuring too many calories burned during…

It sounds like you’re very overweight. You most likely got there with bad food choices overtime. You can start by just changing your diet eliminating all ultra processed foods things like white bread, donuts chips, things like that and also no alcohol and don’t drink your calories. Your drinks should be basically just…
-
Stick with a weekly calorie amount for 4-6 weeks before coming to conclusions. No loss at that point and you need to lower calories.
-
you can add 100 increments however understand that when you change calories the effect isn’t immediate so if you add, sit there for at least a month before adding or subtracting again otherwise you may change amounts again prematurely. Your metabolism is fine and you don’t need to add many calories over maintenance to add…
-
unless your overall TDEE outpaces your increase in calories you will gain fat. If you want to add muscle you only need slightly above maintenance.
-
Sure! If you want to gain weight. You said in your previous thread that you started that you were maintaining at 1700 so going up over 400 cal a day you’re going to gain fat
-
If no loss after 4 to 6 weeks, it means your calories are too high so you’ll need to lower your weekly calories
