@Lietchi - I like the idea of a fitness device! I had a Fitbit for the first 3-4 months of my journey, but it died and I haven't gotten it replaced. I'll keep this in mind for sure! @grltaz - lol on the new puppy! We just got a little dachshund pup in February BUT since the recent passing of our other dog, have considered…

December 27, 2022 vs June 12, 2023 64lbs difference I still have another 36lbs to go. I hope to reach goal weight in October but I realize the closer to goal weight I am, the slower the weight will drop off. So it'll start getting harder. But hey, it's progress!

I'm just shy of a 60lb loss and the 5% challenge crew helped me lose all of it. I happened to find out about this challenge right after I joined this app and have been a member of the 5% challenge groups ever since. I'm definitely not close to goal weight yet, but I'm chugging along!

You're stuck with me again 😉

How many 5% Challenges have you done? This makes #3 What do you like to do for fun? Garden, game and go running. What major city do you live in or near? State? Aiken, South Carolina What are you health/fitness goals for this season? To lose 5% of my weight. And put more of an emphasis on my fitness. How would your pet or…

Way to go! That's such a great feeling to fit into smaller clothes. Since December when I started, I cleaned out my closet yesterday. I pulled out all of the 2X stuff I used to wear. It doesn't fit me anymore. I've shrunk from a size 20 to a size 14 now. It's a good feeling.

Everyone is different. There is no "one size fits all" approach to weightloss, so ultimately you have to decide for you - something you can incorporate permanently into your lifestyle. If you can't live without pizza, don't. If you can't live without soda, don't. If you can't live without cheesecake, don't. Because the…

Thank you Lynn for this awesome community! It's wholesome and supportive and encouraging. So far I've lost 10% of my body weight with help from all these challenges. Thank for this great group.

Coffee with a little bit of sugar-free vanilla creamer. 35 calories. I don't have to eat in the morning...I guess I would be a good candidate for IF.

Track everything. If you're mindful about the calories something has and it is deducted from your daily balance, you'll know how much more you can eat to stay within your calorie range to maintain weight loss.
-
Be purposeful! Track everything daily. Those two tips will get you from where you are to where you want to be. I started December 27th 2022, and so far I've lost 40lbs. I've gone from a size 20 to a size 14. I have another 60lbs to go but I track every day. I'm mindful of how many calories I have to spend and stick to it.…

I've been on MFP every day since I last December 27th with a goal to lose 100lbs. So far, I've lost 37lbs. Feel free to add me.

Hey! Add me!

I'd like to be back with my peeps

I've noticed this too. However it also looks like how you earn those 10,000 steps. If you heart rate is elevated during those steps, you're going to burn/earn more. But yeah, mine have been a bit a bit skewed too.

Welcome! Perhaps this time around you should stay on this app and keep tracking. Unfortunately tracking for some of us, myself included, is a lifelong chore because if we get out of tracking, we will gain it all back. When you reach goal weight, you can stay in maintenance mode and eat more calories but honestly if you…

First off, enjoy the sugary cereal but...measure it first. Food scale is most accurate, measuring cup can at least give you a ballpark idea of how much you're consuming. Measure your milk out too. Losing weight is all about calorie deficit. Check your BMR to see how many calories you need to consume daily to maintain/lose…

So what your post told me is you are a strong person. A strong person can do anything. You got this! You're going to take your life and do awesome things with it. I believe in you!

See where it gets you in 5-6 weeks. Are you still losing weight at a healthy pace of 1-2lbs a week? Do you have enough energy throughout the day? If the answer is yes, then I'm sure it's fine. I wouldn't drop below 1000 calories a day for health reasons. 1200 calories is already on the low side, but this is just my take on…

Last several days I've been walking 4,000-8,000 steps with my Fitbit which is connected to my MFP. It awards me exercise calories. I don't eat them, but it's nice to see a number there. Yesterday I walked 6800 steps and MFP said I burned 500 calories. Kinda high to me tbh, but like I said, I don't eat my exercise calories…

See my post from last night on the issues forum. Seems like there is a major glitch in the exercise section. Not all users are experiencing it though. I'm sitting at 2005 steps for the day and 0 calories burned for it. Thanks MFP. But you are not alone in this. I don't have a fix for you however.

I just posted about this last night. Seems like a glitch. It sucks pretty bad.

I'd love some more friends on here! I'm a 33 year old mom of 2, and I've got 100lbs to lose. Come join me! I like posting daily inspirations too.
