This new year the scale was at its highest, and I almost hit 300 pounds. My highest weight was 3 weeks ago at 288. I got a very physical job which set me back at 270 pounds, what I started at last year. I'm totally motivated to work out more so hopefully the number will keep shrinking!

I weighed 150 pounds (I'm 5'4") until I was about 27. Not super skinny but no visible fat that bothered me. Then I started gaining weight even though I eat pretty much the same, and now at 35 I'm at 270. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, but I think aging is what killed my metabolism. Seriously, aging sucks!

I'm also 5'4" but I'm shooting for 150 pounds. Reason why is because I apparently have a large head and I was called bighead and bobblehead when I was really skinny. :| I felt really good about myself at 150!

It's the first time I take weight loss seriously in a long time, and my t-shirts feel a lot looser! I know it's working even if the scale doesn't move. Proves what I'm doing is working, and it makes me want to do even more!

That sounds like a lot of weight to carry! Is that recommended for women also? I don't think I've ever lifted anything over 20 pounds. It probably would be more practical to buy that vs a machine though!

That’s a good idea! I’m not set on a treadmill but I would really love any machine. The reason I’m thinking of buying it new is for the warranty. They really are like a grand cheaper used though!

Beyond food is delicious... so are Impossible Whoppers. Meat is everywhere and it's hard to avoid it, but if meat replacement is offered it seems like a shame to choose meat.

The jobs I've had that were active (meaning, being on my feet the whole day) left me feeling extremely drained and sore with absolutely no desire to work out. I think I kept my same weight instead of losing any pounds, too. So... computer jobs all the way!
