I am on my way to slowing down and enjoying the beauty of color, texture, flavor, smells.

My plan is to walk 10 minutes a day, adding 5 minutes more weekly. I will find strength training exercises for two times a week.

I have a meal plan in place from the book "Low Sodium, Low Cholesterol, Diabetic Menu Plan." I'm following 1200 calorie option and tracking everything I eat.

My goal is to lose at least 7 lbs. and gain back some energy. I have a good lower sodium, lower cholesterol menu plan in place which I will continue to follow. My water goal is 6 c daily. My cardio goal is 15 minutes daily, outdoors and treadmill.

My sister and I are working together to lose weight this summer. So far I have lost 2 pounds. She found an old book she had with a very specific menu plan for lower sodium, lower cholesterol. It is helping. I will need accountability on getting exercise and water in.
