You sound like me. I’ve determined I’m addicted to sweets. I’ve gone 2 weeks now without eating any junk food and my calories have just adjusted down. I know everyone says “all things in moderation” but that hasn’t worked for me. Steering clear of junk entirely seems to be doing it.

I find that when I prepare my food at home and focus on non-processed or low-processed food, I am able to easily stay within my calorie range for the day and feel fully satisfied. When I eat out or mindlessly grab a snickers or something, I blow through my calories and still want more.

Same boat! I have 80 pounds to reach my ideal weight but honestly I’d just be happy to weigh under 200 again. I have tons of health issues now and am only 47…like sleep apnea and PCOS…so I’m in this for health and not vanity.
