I have the same concern, as I've already lost an inch in height. Durden, all 3 articles you reference state that the current DVs for Adults over 4 years of age is 1300 mg, not 1000 mg. So, does this mean MyFitnessPal has assigned different DV equivalents?

I'm in the same boat, somewhat. I'm an ovo-lacto-pescatarian (eggs, milk, seafood) and I REALLY struggle to even get half the protein that is "recommended" for me.
