  • I’m old school..Simon & Garfunkel “I am a Rock” & “Bridge over Troubled Water”
  • Just brousing and saw your note. I've been kind of sitting in place, but now have new motivation for losing weight. I have a granddaughter getting married the end of the month, so I'm starting to get serious. I'm 77, and have finally realized I don't need big meals. I have little to eat in the a.m., mainly coffee and maybe…
  • Latest NSV...Clothes fitting better, am working out of my "fat" clothes, and my lap times at the pool are getting better. :)
  • Good for you! I'm 67. I've been at this for a few years. I used to go by the name dutchman24, but was somehow dropped and had to re-up. Probably a good thing, as I've finally re-committed myself and have lost 23 pounds. If you need support, I'll be there.
  • You can add me to your friends list if you choose. I'm 67 years old, have been of mfp for a few years. I was somehow dropped and had to re-join under a differant name. My weight had balooned up to 269 lbs which is rediculous. I'm now down to 246, but need to hopefully drop at least 20 more. Keep logging daily and add some…
  • You may also be adding muscle, which adds healthy weight. When I was not getting results, I re-checked my food choices, and became more regular in exercise. I swim and walk. So far, I've lost 23 pounds, and am thinking of adding some biking to the list. Don't give up. Log in daily, and maybe only weigh yourself weekly.
  • Make sure you track your food daily. I find that limiting meals and adding exercise...at least 30 minutes daily works for me. I've had to re-join because somehow I was dropped, so am going under another name. Since I've re-joined, I've lost 23 pounds, and want to lose a minimum of 40. Keep at it, it works.
