  • Dang, only one?? Well, more often than not, I prefer to go out to a dining restaurant to cheat and I usually wind up with some kind of pasta. Oh and a tres leches cake piece from HEB.
  • Good luck to you, brother-in-arms!
  • Oh I see what's happening here. I'm looking to do a short cleanse/detox or sub smoothies for a meal or occasionally two to hopefully give my digestion a boost and help me get more fruits and veggies in my daily intake. From what I noticed in your diary, you can stand to increase your protein intake, and thus lower your…
  • Depends on what you want to do. Some people train differently during a cut than they would at maintenance or bulking. A person bulking wants add muscle, so instead of doing supersets, circuits and HIIT, they might opt for high weight/low rep weightlifting and low-intensity cardio, if any cardio at all. If you want to stay…
  • Yea, it shows sugars indented underneath carbs. Same with fiber which is also a carb.
  • What a coincidence! I was plotting on starting Friday as well. My Nutribullet arrives today and I get paid Thursday lol. I'm nervous though and considering only doing it through the weekend and maybe the modified version through next week....
  • I noticed there is a lot of confusion about the whole IIFYM concept, but instead of adding calories for the treats, which are usually carb-heavy, make it fit your macros. Say if you're macros are 100g protein, 20g fat, and 120g carbs (just throwing random numbers out). Make most of what you eat throughout the day focused…
  • I log by the day. I also like to plan my meals for the week so I consider my total calorie and macros goals for the day when I plan them. Then I map them out in MFP for the week. If something comes up and I want to eat something else, then I go make edits for that day only. This helps me not overeat or miss my mark on…
  • MFP does add your sugar into your carbs. It doesn't treat it differently. It just tells you how much sugar you are consuming, in case you're trying to limit that. Then you don't have to go hunting and doing separate calculations on sugar. The same with trans fats being included under your overall fat intake.
  • Reporting in. I started Herbalife in the midst of the month. I've lost 3 lbs and some 4 inches on my waist. My squat is now 150lbs, deadlift 135, and bent over row 90. My bench and overhead press are uncomfortable/leading me to stall in the last two reps of the last two sets. I'm considering either using the smith machine,…
  • Hey! I'm new to the grew and to SL! I just fnished Jamie Eason's LiveFit trainer last week. I'll save a bulk of the introduction for another post, but I will say that I've seen a good bit of change over time. I feel it doesn't show as well in pics as it does in person. My current stats: 5'4", 155lbs, 27% body fat (by Omron…
  • I think we're at abotu the same timeframe. I just did Day 16 this morning!
