3:00 pm - I spoke too soon. - The old version is now gone again and MFP came out with a reply saying that they are planning on staying with the new crappy version after they "fix some bugs" - UGHH!!! 6/25/25 - 2:45 pm PST …. Yayy!! It looks like MyFitnessPal did listen to all of us frustrated users and they have now…

6/25/25 - 2:45 pm PST …. Yayy!! It looks like MyFitnessPal did listen to all of us frustrated users and they have now brought back the old proven standard version. Let's all hope that it stays that way but Thank You to everybody who made their thoughts known & ultimately heard by the corporate stiffs.

Can't even change the ordering of your saved daily food diary entries without major efforts and frustrations. If you select a previously entered food, it won't let you re-save it unless you also change the quantity value…. horrible update - bring back the old.

So, if you drink a 12 oz. can of soda you have no preset (or customizable) value to choose from? I guess you will also have to do the math in your head and revise your daily fluids total in that situation…. Visually annoying and very inefficient 😝… Absolutely terrible! … Please bring back the old version ASAP!!

Others have also stated that the problem is not limited to just the free app versions. Even the paid for "Premium" version has the same debilitating bug.

Well it appears as though the myfitnesspal people have no intentions of fixing this major flaw, soo .... does anybody have any suggestions for other food tracking apps that also link up with the Fitbit watches? I wonder if Fitbit is aware of this issue and their potential for loss of user base?

Hello myfitnesspal - what is the problem and when do you expect a fix? Very frustrating and time consuming not being able to easily edit the initial meal diary entries. Not to mention having to settle for having the ordering of the food items all mixed up and out of order.

C'mon mfp - why is it so hard to fix this? A tracking program that can't track (due to no editing functionality) is basically worthless. :s

Same issue here on my web-based version using the Edge browser. This makes using the app a royal pain in the neck. I sure hope MyFitnessPal addresses the issue soon.
