@Korean_King Thanks, it makes sense. First day I joined I was just trying to figure out the app and was getting friend requests. Couldn't figure out why. I just ignore requests. I accepted one friend at first because of inspiration posts but didn't bother with anyone afterwards. Can chat with others if you want on topicsβ¦

I work and go home. Do my own thing and stay to myself. I don't deal with social media accounts, I spent my time in my backyard so people rarely see me. Now that I've been out walking people are seeing me but I walk outside the community. There are people who have thought I've been living away for years because theyβ¦

I also want to give a shout-out to @deepwoodslady and @takinitalloff. I've watched both of you be so inviting, engaging, and inspiring to newcomers since I've come on this app. Whether it's days when your weigh ins are stagnant or you have great weight losses, you both have been so kind and uplifting to us newcomers! Thankβ¦

By the way. I normally wouldn't be on here this hour but working night shift. I do homecare with developmentally delayed woman. I hate that term because she is just as smart as we are, just can't express herself the same. She's such a sweetheart and joy to be aroundβ€οΈ. Wish all humans were as loving as she is. She meltsβ¦

@Corina1143 I know how you feel. I love music and dancing but never do it anymore. I purchased a mat the other day so I can start working out to videos on YouTube. Switch it up to target strengthening my lower belly and toning it as I'm losing weight as well as some dancing workouts and stuff. May try kickboxing as well.β¦

Because you change the foods by the amount of proteins, carbs and fats in percentage and your exercises would be from just cardio to weight training which burns in your body differently or some other activity. Also just changing your same routine alone can give your mind and body a shift in how it reacts so it will respondβ¦
-
@AllyNorth Ever think of changing up your routine? Eat at different times, workout at different times, do different workouts you haven't done before? Body gets use to repetition and stops burning as it use to because of it. Give it a change overall and it should give it a motivational boost. Same as doing everydayβ¦

Question? How do people know when you first join and request to be a friend without you doing anything but the food logging? And then after when you don't really jump around forums but on people still request as friends? I don't get it?
-
@brandice65 Good for you! π. Your doing great! Keep focused on your goals and don't let anyone deter you with comments that can make you feel like your doing it all wrong. Ask questions from those who are certified and qualified when you need advice to help you along the way and try to enjoy the journey as much asβ¦

@mtaratoo. I will certainly do that and see what happens. But in the meantime I exercise quite vigorously 5-6 days a week so not sure about it all being water loss. I see the scale every morning but I really go by my clothing and my measurements as I'm gaining muscle from rowing, walking and weights and toning as I'm doingβ¦
-
@mtaratoot I totally agree and understand everything you saidπ. I just made the comment to show what 2 hard filled days of shoveling massive amounts of snow can do to your body! It's not a sustainable exercise because today I'm exhausted and barely managing to tidy the house and do laundry. It's recovery day!

Just want to say: if you want to lose weight get up and work your butt off. I weighed in at 233.6 on Friday March 8. This morning, march 10, weighed 229.4lbs
-
@takinitalloff Thanks but it got worse. Was at it again last night at 10pm. Up early and started at 8am shoveling and didn't finish until til 2 pm. Had 5 neighbors to shovel out not counting my own. Snow up past the doorways! Won't let hubby shovel because he's had a stint in and knees are shot waiting to see doctor aboutβ¦

@mtarotoot. I appreciate your analogy on the subject but not needed as I'm not diving. I've had a blood clot in my lungs before, I have multiple times had to have iron intake increased both by injections for a year and other times by medication. So when I get exhausted and can't breathe it usually stems from one of theseβ¦

@deepwoodslady. I agree with this statement. Had nightshift Saturday past, only 2.5 hrs sleep. Got home Sunday at noon. Rowed 10,000 meters, then worked out on my gym and was totally spent. Only 6 hrs sleep Sunday night, and was just gasping all evening for oxygen. Monday morning I started packing the food into me, allβ¦

Hi thanks for the invite. But after looking at how you want weigh ins and that to be logged, I have to decline. I'm not a savvy computer person and trying to do the things you require for this is really not my forte. I'm lucky I can find where I'm keeping the draft for the February monthly weigh in challenge! Had deletedβ¦

@jeanniewes Hi again. Posted my stats up to today. Hopefully this is okay for your group?
-
Hi again. Did my total for steps and rows from ]Feb 1 -13 Outside walks = 43,300 steps (doesn't include in house daily steps or going to shops and such) Rowing machine = 39,723 km.
-
@deepwoodslady. Thank you and others here hope to keep going strong!
-
Some great comments here! Thanks for sharing. Will certainly take some hints π
-
@jeanniewes. The rower goes by meters but converted to km as I'm Canadian, is the same distance. I will have to go back over my longs and put in an update of what I've rowed and walked so far in January, if that's okay? Both burn calories but the rower tones the muscles also

@takinitalloff π. Thank you so much!
