I’m trying to make a plan Ito counter the emotional eating. I’ve also got a new comment to counter my eating over plan. As the bra shrinks the reflux increases. Nan you can’t afford to keep buying bigger bras so stop bingeing and buy a nice top with the savings

I’m trying to be realistic and listening to my body so I’m able to do every day instead being stupid, overdoing it and losing 2 days. Minimum planned is 30 mins after breakfast with an exercise video from Jessica Smith then chores and if they will be heavy then no video just functional exercise.

Portion control is where I try to go. I’ve been floundering in the dark for most of 2024 but I’m building a plan of action for 2025 I’m hoping is going to work for me. Food of itself is not my problem. My approach to stress eating and and filling the void with empty calories is my problem.

My end goals are To lose weight (the nurse said going on tell me off at my hypertension review) To stress less To exercise regularly To eat sensibly To put me FIRST I’m working on a plan for the year

I want to move forward from the bad place 2024 has been to a happier, more in control of myself person that I used to be. To achieve this goal there are some things I need to sort out for myself. I must realise there are some things I can change and some things I can’t and learn not to stress over the latter. I must find…

@Dianedoessmiles1 my body leaves the 60’s in a few weeks but my mind is way behind it. I’m struggling with the “but I used to coulds” I plan to go to the moon and back in a day like I once did but these days I get to the launch pad and need a break! That’s what frustrates me. My whirlwind days are gone and I’m not ready.…

@Dianedoessmiles1 my healthy habit needs to be no procrastinating. Make a timetable and get out of the comfy seat after breakfast. If I don’t get a job done I stress because I failed, then I binge because I’m stressed, then binge/stress rotates and my clothes shrink. I’m looking to Santa to bring me the human equivalent of…

Hi everyone, Saturday has been good. Rose early and got all my planned jobs done before driving to Anne’s. I was disappointed with my Fall progress but I guess weight loss depends on and I’ve had a SEE food spell recently. This must stop.

I’m taking a stand for me and so I’ve decided not to go totally silly BUT from now until the New Year, I’m not tracking food nor exercise and on January first the timetable I’m sorting out for myself in the meantime (barring unscheduled hospital visits) is my go to. Too many fiddly things to fit in between now and then

I liked the new format of just walking. I was able to make my own destination each day to get to and from a destination that took me through my personal challenge of 10000 steps per day. e.g. milk run to the supermarket with a backpack when I needed it. While I didn’t once meet the protein or fibre goals I appreciated the…

Good day Saturday. Started at 11am seriously as I joined the local scarecrow festival walk in the dry. Home, lunch and back out to do it again, this time with Anne and her wheelchair. We watched the clouds darken and knew we were in for a downpour and someone was definitely looking after us because no sooner had we got…

Wow Wednesday! Up with the lark to do a bit of very late spring cleaning at Anne’s. Things were a bit squidgy early this year so no deep cleaning was done in either of our houses. Feeling better now, with a week at Anne’s for nurse visits I decided that today I’d tackle the kitchen (floor to ceiling) and we kicked off last…

@Dianedoessmiles1 the ground was actually a bit heavy for digging but I was lifting soft plants and it was going to be unsightly. We just have bulbs and flowers in it.

@Tabatha_Cain it’s hard realising that blah years ago you could run a marathon, then climb a mountain before you stopped for lunch and now sometimes lunchtime is here before you think about getting out of bed. You get used to it, honest. Set yourself a goal for the day and take off the last job before you start out. Now…

@minstrelofsarcasm making poppies has been a pleasure and with a deadline for getting them to the church they have kept my hands out of the candy jar for 2 weeks.
