Hi. I’m new here. I have had successful weight loss in the past using weight watchers, but the last time I tried it, it did not work. I am currently at my highest weight ever. Exercise is nearly impossible for me due to RA. Walking even a short distance causes me extreme pain. I went to my doctor and asked for a prescription to Wegovy. She agreed, but while waiting for it, she gave me Metformin (I am not Diabetic which she confirmed) and asked me to track my food. I did this for about a week and noticed some progress. Last week I received and took my first dose of Wegovy. Three days later I started projectile vomiting. I am afraid to take it again, so I plan to restart Metformin and keep tracking until my next appointment in about 2 weeks. Has anyone else had this type of reaction to Wegovy or other GLP medication? Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I’d love to hear how it goes for you. I took a shot of Wegovy (my first) a week ago and three days later started projectile vomiting. Up to that time it seemed to be working, I had no appetite. Now I’m afraid to take another dose.
