Right here with you guys. I have 70-80 lbs to lose to be at a healthy weight. Trying to be more plant-based. Less processed meats, less butter and cheese. More beans, greens, and berries. Good luck to you both!

That’s great. Whenever I am able to track my food, it helps me be more mindful of both my portions and the quality of the food I am eating. It can be difficult to build the habit. MyFitnessPal is a good tool. Try to log every time you eat something, or better yet, log even before you eat it.

Thanks for sharing. What I struggle with in my own life is the ability to pause… and wait… when a craving hits. Anybody have any good strategies they use to slow down?

Don’t give up! Are there any exercises you enjoy that don’t involve walking and don’t aggravate your plantar fasciitis?

Agree with stress being a trigger. Consider talking with a counselor or friend and coming up with a plan next time you find yourself in that situation. A healthy snack? A walk outside?

Thanks for posting this to the forum. Is there anybody in your life who has a healthy food that they really enjoy? You guys could have a meal together and they can share why they enjoy it.
