  • That’s great. Whenever I am able to track my food, it helps me be more mindful of both my portions and the quality of the food I am eating. It can be difficult to build the habit. MyFitnessPal is a good tool. Try to log every time you eat something, or better yet, log even before you eat it.

  • Thanks for sharing. What I struggle with in my own life is the ability to pause… and wait… when a craving hits. Anybody have any good strategies they use to slow down?
  • Don’t give up! Are there any exercises you enjoy that don’t involve walking and don’t aggravate your plantar fasciitis?
  • Agree with stress being a trigger. Consider talking with a counselor or friend and coming up with a plan next time you find yourself in that situation. A healthy snack? A walk outside?
  • Thanks for posting this to the forum. Is there anybody in your life who has a healthy food that they really enjoy? You guys could have a meal together and they can share why they enjoy it.
