Also, from the angle of your own eyes, I think a belly looks 100 times worse than it is. I have lost 35lbs and when I look down my stomach looks exactly the same as before I started. But, I have gone from a tight fitting 36 to a 32 so change is happening! Measure inches for belly and I think you will be surprised.

Run to The Hills - Iron Maiden. Can't help but give your absolute best while it plays. Great for ending a workout and giving your last drop of energy you never knew had.

The whole Kashi line isn't too bad - 120 calories with acceptable amounts of sugar/carbs. They really taste great too. I also like the new Special K cracker chips - 30 of them for 110 calories.

I used to love Wendy's salads but the sodium content is ridiculous, so I cut them out. Argh!

I too count, though, I don't measure with any precision. Guesstimate on cucumbers for instance is all I really need to do.

Someone said it earlier, but bottom line is listen to your body. I too do not eat all my exercise calories back, I am full eating 1/2 of them back. Why put the additional calories in because a generic online calculator suggests I do so. The online tools are just not robust enough to tailor to each individual. So -…

Found this post through a search. This board is wonderful. I too am on a beta blocker and was wondering, what if any, implications that has on a cardio workout - because I just can't get it over 115-120. Thanks!
