Starting keto diet, this is day 2. I have been watching utubes videos on how to proceed with this new life style way of eating. Professor Jacob Wilson was very helpful. I can see that this will work for me because my appetite is way down and no more sugar cravings.

Hello, I lost 40 lbs on My fitnesspal in 2013, but stopped the low carb eating and gained it back because I am very much so carb sensative. Now I am back on track. I was at 225 lbs last year, now 207 and going down!

On non fast days I try to eat between 1200 and 1500 calories. It is important to watch the fat and sugar. I use stevia instead of sugar in my coffee. Also the water is important, I try to drink a mimimum of 8 glasses a day.

I lost 15 of it last year and the rest this year. But last year was like practice of what I need to do to stick with it and start exercising. I added Zumba this year in addition to the walking that I try to do daily. I recently added a 2nd Zumba for the week so that will really speed up the weight loss. I feel wonderful!

Wow, so much going on, busy time. Yeah when we are "BUSY" we lose track of what things. I have been trouble losing weight since starting on the Sertraline(Zoloft) even though I stick with the calories to lose and exercise. Great job! It is so much work trying to get these stubborn pounds to go away! It is like the pounds are stuck like glue! So, with determination and consistent work we can do it! Some days or weeks are better than others but we keep at it and don't give up.

Most diet experts say don't skip breakfast. I have skipped breakfast before and it is doable but not easy. I am on fast now but it seem so easy this time around. I have eaten 300 of he 500 alloted calories. I will just have tea for the rest of the evening. I lost 2.4 lbs this round. Today I complete fast day #2 at noon. If I can keep this up I will be at my goal weight by the end of the year and that is exciting to think about!

Started 2nd fast today at noon will end tomorrow at noon. I find it easier this way. Sunday I was craving sweets so I allowed myself some ice cream but then that caused the insulin spike thing that happens and I wanted more, so I had popcycles. I ended up going over my calories by about 500. However, I still lost weight. I think the Zumba on Saturday really helps speed up the metobolism :smile:

Completed my fast at noon today, it was easy doing the noon to noon the following day fast. I will stick to doing the fast this way, stuck to my calorie limit and was not hungry. I did Zumba yesterday and got through it ok.

I weigh everyday, by doing so it helps me to diet on a "daily" basis. That means that I refocus on what I need to do "that day", not tomorrow or when I feel like doing it.
