Interesting.. I'm assuming the person who has graduated college doesn't have experience equivalent to the person without the degree. My job:. Hire the best person for the job. Weight wouldn't be a factor. Decision would be based on who is the best fit for the job and body type/weight is not a requirement for most…

Experimenting..this site is awesome for that. I knew nothing about macro nutrients before joining this site and making friends with others who were successfully losing weight. I upped my proteins..result is less carbs being consumed and a higher likelihood of not losing lean body mass. I'm not religious about the macro…

Yup..Been on here for 4 months...fantastic tool for weight loss. Lost 20 lbs on here using a combination of P90X, cardio and good diet. Lost 10 lbs the 2 months before that before I found MFP.

Not from NC but I live in Raleigh...love North Carolina.
-
Wow..you look completely different.

12-15 hours a week (6-7 days weekly)..doing a lot of cardio currently before starting another session of P90X. I'm looking forward to cutting back to to 8-10 hours a week with more interval training and strength training.

Hi everyone..like my username..my name is Kevin and I'm 42. Originally from Kildare, Ireland but now live in Raleigh North Carolina. I see the Carolinas are well represented here. I've lost 26 pounds and have 12-15 left to go and MFP is simply fantastic. I'm back to my 1995-96 level of fitness at this point but I'm not…

Just block them...if they have messaged you twice..its already two times too many.

Rest..shoes..switch exercises to something with less impact for a while. You pushed yourself too hard if you have shin splints. Follow the 10% increase in distance per week rule.

Fantastic work mate..well done :drinker: 5 months too...record time

Stacy ..remember I mentioned my sweating issues a 4-6 weeks which by the way have subsided a little. I personally think its related to the weight loss.

Agree with this ^^^^^^^ too ...To add to what I originally said...I keep my max at 1450 after some experimenting and after exercise and eating calories back. I'm down 11 in 9 weeks which is a healthy loss. However, you did ask what the nutritional guide said so I didn't want to add any confusion to the mix.

9 weeks into the program but I didn't follow the nutrition plan. I am following the macro nutrient levels as much as I can though. Congrats on the weight loss. Yes, according to Page 5 of the guide.. Your rmr (resting metabolic rate) + your daily activity burn (equates to 20% of your RMR) + 600 = Energy amount Since you…

Absolutely fantastic work....well done

Agree with some of the prior posts. Not slutty but not professional so it all comes down to your work setting and your career. It can be attractive on some girl while not on others. I do tend to think "maybe a little wild" when I meet a girl and I unexpectedly find out she has a tongue piercing...lol

I think its all about finding a middle ground...something you can live with forever. Typically, when I get like that, I know I need a break/rest from working out. I don't know if you are working out daily but taking the oaccasional recovery day makes a huge difference for me. I don't pig out on rest days although I may go…

Had the old apple tv..might have to invest in the new one now..surfing the web and viewing on a bigscreen has been problematic on any other device I have tried it with.

My ex used to do the exact same thing all the time..she hated the gym and dancing in front of a mirror was her thing. And she kept trim.
