search runners world sweet potato muffins and just substitute with pumpkin. Awesome pre or post run fuel.

That's awesome. A 5K is very feasible. Just starting training!

It isn't peanut butter but I love Marantha natural almond butter. It is naturally a little sweeter than peanut butter, or I think it tastes that way at least. It is a little lower in saturated fats and it is actually a nut butter unlike peanut butter.

I am 5 foot 7. I have my calories set at maintenance. I don't want to lose weight but I want to lose fat percentage. I read new rules of lifting for women and this is what they recommend and it seems to be working. There are a lot of girls on here that do that. My maintenance is at 1940, but I changed my macronutrient…

You don't have to be obese to have a high body fat percentage. Google the term "skinny fat."

The book talks a little about this. Use it kind of as a warm up. Do a little walking around or stretching to warm up and then before you actually start your reps just kind mess with the weights a bit. If you are doing squats that day just start with the bar. If that feels to light first go around, then put a little more…

They are very right about eating more. I weight 125 and I eat about 2000 calories everyday because of my workouts. If I can eat that many you can surely eat more than that. MFP is great for logging your food, but the way it calculates how much are you supposed to eat is a little dated.
-
How many pounds a week are you trying to lose? Bottom line, if your body does not have enough calories to function, it won't burn anything extra. I know MFP is saying 1200. You should be exercising, so if our BMR is 1493, you eat 1493 but burn enough calories to make your net 1200. So you need to burn 293 calories to have…

Rest between your sets please! I know it gets boring. At least rest a little bit :)

Your net calorie consumption needs to be at least what your BMR is. You can calculate your BMR online. This is how many calories your body needs to function (breath and digest food etc). If you aren't getting this your body is going to hold on to every calorie it takes in instead of burning. Turbofire is no joke so I…

I definitely agree with this. You need to work all your muscles in your body. Those isolating exercises are definitely not the most efficient use of your time. Your muscles are meant to work together to get a job done. Overall strength is the best way to do that. Being able to do ten billion crunches isn't going to help…

Everything will be all right. From your picture you don't look like you should be hard pressed to lose weight anyway. Just focus on being healthy and feeling good, not the stupid scale. Scales lie! It's about what your made of not how much you have. I stopped looking at scales a long time ago. Just be strong!

If it is really cold outside I can taste the blood taste. It takes a few times out in the cold cold weather for everything to get adjusted where you don't have it anymore.

Try mixing some whey protein in it instead. The muscle tech chocolate is great in coffee. Let it cool for a minute before you put it in. It tastes like a mocha or dark chocolate hot cocoa but it is low carb and loaded with protein to keep you full in the morning.

Extra protein will help you recover from your more intense workouts so I recommend it for sure. Whey is the best. Although if you are vegetarian keep in mind that it is a milk protein. Anyway I use the GNC Vanilla with just water and it is really good and smooth. However, the muscle tech chocolate is excellent in your…
