Hello All! I have just started the MRC Meta-Slim Diet (today is actually day one)! I lost 3.5 pounds during the pre-conditioning week, and I am eager to see how much my hard work will pay off over the next few weeks! I've got 51 more to lose!

Also, this was over a 7 month period. So 40 pounds by summer would be completely do-able!

I lost 70 pounds by walking 2-3 miles a day, five days a week. That was all I did, except for watching what I ate. I didn't tone or use any type of weights until after I lost all that weight. Switching up the speed at which I walked is what I think helped it be so effective.

My moment occurred when I attended a week-long professional development seminar in Chicago. When I packed, I threw all of my usual "teacher clothes" into a suitcase and left. I got up to get dressed on the first day, and NOTHING fit. Not a single item of clothing in my suitcase fit, even though they all fit two months…
