Depends on whether the shoes are for you or your cat. If they are for you then you are best getting advice at a running store. If they are for your cat then I think it depends on how old they are and whether they have run in shoes before. If they are over one year old then I would suggest he/she tries barefoot running. If…

It does but just a little. I'm always really careful when exercising to slow down a bit when my heart rate gets near to the top of my "Zone". Heaven forbid my heart goes too fast!
